You are so clever , and it has been a long time since I have seen you.. lots of love.❤
Ahhhh thanks for saying that
Just a hint that I realized while fixing a chair leg recently, it's easier to use zip ties than clamps especially if you're using soft material
Brilliant! That’s a fab tip. Thanks for sharing 🥰
I’ve seen you do this several times. I was doing a chair for a client that was missing one of three rungs on the back. It was cost prohibitive to take it to a local carpenter to make a new one. So, I bought a dowel of the appropriate size, made a mold from one of the existing spindles, filled the mold with Bondo, then squeeze the mold tight around the dowel, taped it well, and let it dry. Well to my surprise, after filling and sanding, it was perfect! The client couldn’t tell which was originally missing! Thank you so much for letting us in on a doable way to make repairs.
Peg!!!! This is brilliant what a fab idea to fix that. I love that the client couldn’t even tell which one was originally missing! So good.
What an awesome trick!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I am heading to the workroom to try this out!!!
Hehehe I’m so glad Debbie 🥰
Fantastic idea, I had to share
cause it’s almost unbelievable lol
Good job. ❤
Thank you! 😁
Before adding bondo to the glue mold. Coat with Vaseline (petroleum jelly or cooking spray, like pam)

Everytime I see this furniture repair trick I am astonished! I remember watching this video all the way through and rewinding the part where you took the hot glue mold off and being so thrilled with your furniture repair hack that I watched it 3 times! So satisfying haha. I can't wait until I have a project I can try this little winner on! Exciting, cool, amazing!! Nobody would believe it if they didn't see it haha! I love the way this bench turned out and nobody would know that the leg on this bench was anything but original!
Brilliant!
XxN

You rock!
So cool!
It’s crazy helpful 😂
Nice tip 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
That is cool
Thanks ☺️
I have a small table with one leg that is busted on the end. I was wondering how I could repair it and this would be perfect! Thank you!
Ahhhh I love hearing that Terry.
Sarah, what is the Australian equivalent of bondo please?
Builders Bog 🥰
This is great! But what did you do with the nails that were sticking out?
Well bc they were at an angle I didn't have to do anything they are concealed inside the bondo. If they were sticking out too far then the mold would not have gone on correctly and it would have been at that time I would have trimmed the nails back. Hope that makes sense.
@@VintageAndPainted Oh, okay. I just couldn't let it go in my head that they were there. lol
