I think you are a pioneer of something great. I want to spread the word and help people get on the water safely and in the same style. Great stuff bro, keep em coming.
I have a 12/36 yakiller, it's in it's 4th year and it's got a wood frame, and it still rocks. Can get skinny and comfortable at the same time. It's bad ass. Things always get better over time. Could mine sink. Yes. But so can all boat's.
Man don’t listen to the haters. Most people sit on their butts and never try something that’s challenging. You made some mistakes, but you did it! Nice work!!
I have a tracker topper 1036 I recently finished a conversion after watching this I may have to redo I removed all the foam from my bench eats for more storage andthe only foam I have is in the floor and sides but I did install a bilge pump
Hi, I think this is awesome, the progress that you have made so far is going to help me with my build. In your opinion what will the ideal size be for a build?
Nice video, and great project. Do you do any coastal inshore fishing with it ? I've been told that a 12 footer, is too small for coastal inshore fishing.
I think it’s time to expand the TBN to the salt water guys and do a salt specific build. Lots of folks seem to think that putting an aluminum boat in salt water is instant death when they actually fair pretty well when set up and taken care of properly.
It takes time to work it out you have to have a great team to help and understanding with ideas to work on to make it better good planning make a great team remember EACH 1 TEACH 1 TOGETHER 😉
I think the trend of your style jon boat doesnt take off is because they have to be built vs a kayak you walk into a store and go fishing...i perfer a jon all day over my kayak but im still building my jon.. my yak was ready to roll after purchase and any fishing excessories only added to it
Love your videos man. Can’t wait to start my first project on my 12ft Smokercraft aluminum boat. Any chance you could shoot me a message with recommendations on your site of what I’d need?
I love seeing where you started, and how you have grown over the years and the progression of refining your craft. Excellent.
I remember this boat, great build. Glad to see it again!

Well done, sir! You have to start learning from some point! BTY because of you I will build a 1436 for my grandson and me.
Thank you
Lee
Good video man. Kudos on having the idea from the ground up and to execute it. Everything starts somewhere.
You've come a long way since then... can't wait to see this new one. And can't wait to see where your design improvements take you in the future.
Stoked!! Once I seen the first yak killer vid couple months ago, sold the hobie pa 14 and just started my 1236! Thanks for the updates!!
This is why I subscribed to you, im glad you have great success. You have really grown, but I like the early thoughts. Thumbing Up👍 great video.

Use what you have. I used wood in the 14 Starcraft its holding up great! and i got the idea from this exact video.
Good stuff, working on my first tiny boat build didn't even know people did this. 😂😂
These mods making going out better, even if the fishing sucks. Lots of toys to play with and test.
Keep up the good work man!
I remember both those boats!! 🔥

Most people use Giant yaks for inshore or offshore.
@@TinyBoatNation Yeah, that's what I've heard. Although, I think I'd feel safer in a jon boat, as opposed to a kayak. Thanks for the feedback.

Excellent job and explanation...thank u
Marine grade plywood coated in resin lasts a long time alot longer than using OSB and worthit in the end.
It's important to know the etiology of an idea. JMHO.
✌️ awesome ideas , good luck going forward.
Can these builds be left out in the elements or should they be covered/protected from rain/snow
Wtf you think dummy
Tho toe shoes go hard. Love the content

Hello from Arizona.
So can I buy an aluminum boat, and pay you to build it up the way I want it?
Love your videos man. Can’t wait to start my first project on my 12ft Smokercraft aluminum boat. Any chance you could shoot me a message with recommendations on your site of what I’d need?
I could leave my email if easier
Tin boater here ❤️👍🎯 aloha
Nice and you don't have 7 & 8' rods stuck up in the air.
What’s the best shaped boat for a tiny boat?
And length?
Anyone?
Cool
Would never want a yak.
You don't understand kayak fishing. Apples and oranges. You don't need to compete with kayaks.
Don't need to. Already won 🏆 😎
