Mina and the Slayers is so fun!
That book, The Honey Witch, is gorgeous.
That's the same way I feel about TBRs, it just feels like an assignment and takes away the fun.
Great answers!

Glad you’ve been able to read what you own!! That might be my goal for next year haha!
Woohoo glad you used my questions!
I'm really excited to hear your thoughts on Brother, it's one of my favs
I think reading books with older characters is going to be a new goal of mine. I'm really tired of reading about teens lol
Facts keep mood reading!! Picking a TBR and NOT forcing myself to stick to it is a challenge
🎉 great to hear how your reading is going, 72 books is a great place to be in June
👏The Reformatary and I Was a Teenage Slasher are both on my TBR.
The Angel of Indian Lake was such a great way to round up the trilogy, you'll love it when you get around to it 😊
Great video
I think Sodergren is becoming a horror legend and I'm so happy about it!
If the rest of his catalog is anything like the first 2 I've read, it is well deserved! I'm obsessed
Hey! Long time no see! I had the same experience with House of Leaves, but I didn't even make it through the first chapter. I think I tried to read it at a really bad time, which was not too long after my Dad passed. I do plan to give it a second go, but I don't know when. Take care!
I just started My Heart is a Chainsaw. It has been on my TBR for a while, but I saw that he is coming to LA for an appearance this month, so I figured I better start it. For dark fantasy, I’ve been hearing people recommend Jay Kristoff’s Empire of the Vampire. I haven’t read it myself yet, but the premise sounds interesting.
I hope you enjoy my heart is a chainsaw. People seem to either love or hate it. I tried empire of the vampire last month and DNF'd it. I think I would be into the story, but the author's writing style was really not for me
50/72 is a great ratio! How could your fictional crush not be Toby No-Bone? House of Leaves… parts of the book was 5 stars for me and other parts were 1 or 2 stars. I definitely loathed a good bit of that book 😂 Joe Abercrombie is so so good. He’s my favorite author. I’ve heard great things about Robin Hobb’s character work as well. I love your fall shirt 🦇 👻 🍂
omg I can't believe I forgot Toby No-Bone. I think I'm just afraid to admit my feelings for him.
Great Tag Kritz! I Was A Teenage Slasher sounds like a fun Halloween read. Maggie's Grave is my book of the year so far, also blown away and cannot wait to read more from this author. I loved the feisty old woman from The Haar, such an awesome character. Would you like to buddy read a Sodergren book with me? Butcher & Blackbird sounds interesting, I don't read romance but two serial killers...perhaps. 🤔 The Honey Witch is so gorgeous. House Of Leaves also intimidates the hell out of me. I am moving from TBRs to Pile of Possibilities, which gives me much needed space to mood read. I need to re-read The Blade Itself as an older, wiser 😂 man.
Yes! I'd love to do a sodergren buddy read with you. Did you have a title in mind?
@@Kritz_Reads Either The Forgotten Island or Satan's Burnouts Must Die! A subscriber recommended those two.
@@CliffsDarkGems I own the forgotten island! When shall we start? I don’t get back home for a week (where my book is at )
@@Kritz_Reads Is it ok if we start next month, having a tough month?
@@CliffsDarkGems I’m just traveling right now. Next month sounds perfect!
