Thanks, Melissa! This made me feel good and validated (as I'm still shocked anyone wants to hear me talk about books!) I want to make sure before I start a Patreon or anything like that, that I'd be providing enough to those that support it. It is def. something I'm thinking about!
I read the synopsis and I have no idea why I would have ended up with this book. It may have been a long time ago before I found people with book recs that matched my tastes more
Gus Gus says remove all the books so he has more room to stretch his legs on the shelf 😂😂 Patricia Wants to Cuddle had such a fun start and then… womp womp womp.
aw, thanks Alicia! It came out shorter than I thought, but it grows fast and I'm getting used to it. You should totally list some books for sale! It always makes me feel less guilty about bringing more in later 😂
Awesome video! I am such a hoarder, find the idea of unhauling books terrifying! 😂The Haunted Vagina sounds pretty wild. Cell was a big disappointment for me. Good for you for getting rid of books even if they look good, covers and good looks can be so misleading.
hahaa, yes, the idea of a vagina being a door to a hidden world is pretty wild. I don't like unhauling books I enjoyed....but books under 4 stars? sure!
If you decide to read Gallant by V.E. Schwab, I found that if you read it with the mindset that it is middle grade instead of YA, it improves the experience.
I read The City of Dusk as an arc. I liked it quite a bit, but it wasn't perfect. When the sequel came out I found I wasn't interested in continuing on. I think it is good, but not memorable.
Thanks Mindy, that's what I needed to know. I want to give Robin Hobb and Joe Ambercrombie a try...fantasy authors that have been rec. to me several times. I don't know why I get so scared to pick up fantasy sometimes!
I loved Dear Laura, but until I read the book, I thought those were angel wings in the hand on the cover 😂.
yes! same! or a little piece of paper made to look like wings
I love your videos Kristine. I so relate to wanting to read characters more my age. (PS: if you ever started a Patreon/channel membership I’d join)

I love an unhaul!! It feels so good to make room for other books! 😂
The rage I felt when you held up Unhoneymooners LOL that was truly my awakening of realizing I do not like contemporary romance

Your hair looks nice! I’ve been thinking about trying to sell some books on Pango. The wonders 🤣 You’ll have so many pango bucks for new books 🙌🏻
