As a inline-6 enthusiasts and owner of a 2JZ engine powered car im very excited for what Mazda has instore in the future for all drivers and automotive enthusiasts. Inline-6 turbocharged engine will be powerful and smooth perfectly balanced layout. Inline-6 engines produce a very distinctive engine induction & exhaust sound a smooth musical note music to the drivers ears. Its been decades 20 years ago since Japanese automakers Toyota & Nissan made their last 2JZ and RB inline-6 engines. This is Mazda gift for all of us a new inline straight 6 combustion engine to enjoy and embrace aging for the very last time before everything becomes all electrification. Thank you Mazda for caring and making the effort to bring back a inline-6 engine from Japan. The wait is finally over, Mazda turn a dream into a reality.

It also has an integrated mild hybrid starter motor that also works as a generator and an electric power assist inline with the engine, that adds torque during takeoff and compliments shift points. Since it is inline with the engine itself it actually helps accelerate the engine by filling in the weak points of the torque curve.

Yeah unfortunately Ford has a knack for partnering with other brands copying the Co brands technology then imploding the relationship. The first best move Mazda made was ending that co branding relationship with Ford. Ford partnered with VW two years ago and already VW has severed that partnership.

100% - their post Ford era allowed them to return without compromise to their Japanese driver and engineering focused past and has produced extremely good engineering firsts. Well the marketing campaign alone has been a memorable experience in every way, an epic journey in visual and emotional terms. This has been a wonderful reveal, it appears to be everything I hoped it would be and a good deal more despite the fact that my expectations were already very high. I actually feel really sad now that the journey is at an end, it has been wonderful to feel genuinely involved in everything from the design concept, to engineering, production, marketing. It feels like a favourite tv series has just declared that there won't be another season and I for one am gutted that there will be no more unboxing experiences, feeling rather lost if the truth be told, no more feeling that I am actually there and part of the process, listening in on conversations, watching things being created, unboxed, put together........ sigh.... No more listening to Sanada san hypnotising us all into buying at least one CX 90 with that exquisite delivery of his, that voice could melt chocolate a mile away lol. From the first teaser to this moment it has been a great experience, you all did so well I don't think another advertising campaign for any item or service is going to surpass it, at least not in my lifetime. Well done all of you, everyone performed at the highest level of creativity and excellence and heartfelt thanks from me for allowing me to visually and emotionally travel alongside you all for a while, I don't think I am likely to ever forget it. Bravo Team Mazda, Bravo Sanada San, time now perhaps for a small celebratory glass of wine for all, small since no doubt work will still be waiting tomorrow. 💜Now to see how long it takes for one to get to a dealership anywhere near my part of the UK, living in a remote area has both its blessings and its challenges but I am sure I will get to see one in the flesh soon. Take care Mazda family and Sanada san, everyone stay safe and happy. Hugs from across the pond. 💜 ありがとうございました

Bought my first car last year and I decided to go for Mazda. It was a tough decision at first, because I wanted a German car, something that will be reliable, powerful, affordable, sexy, and to have a soul. Sadly everything I ever wanted was not there in the German manufacturers anymore. The only thing in them was 'power'. To my surprise I saw Mazda 3 and I couldn't believe that the Japanese manufacturers picked the most beautiful red colour ever put on a car! Once I decided to investigate further I found out that all the criteria that I had I found in Mazda and no one else! Japanese people decided to build something far more beautiful than most century old players dominating the market, far more reliable than any German car, far more luxurious for its price, a lot more affordable and the best of all, they put a lot of love in the car! It's hard to describe it, but once you sit inside and drive you feel it. I drove 3x more expensive German cars and I feel dead inside, but in my Mazda even my friends who own expensive German cars got a lot more excited about driving my car. It's truly astounding how the Mazda team creates something that becomes someone once you sit in and decide to drive, while German, Italians and French became completely delusional with their reputation and fame and ended up producing shiny expensive cars that milk their customers for years to come. They don't see a human as a customer, but a cattle who exists to give them their wealth. So many cars produced and nothing valuable...
If Mazda continues like this I will probably stay a loyal customer for the rest of my life. I hope this CX-90 gives the same feeling to many people as the Mazda 3 gave to me.
Edit: after almost a year every day I see my car, I keep staring at her like a teenage boy staring at his crush. It truly is the most beautiful car for me, and I feel like it's not possible to design anything nicer than her. Let's hope I'm wrong and Mazda surprises me in a few years again
