Hey Jarred. Thanks for the videos. I have mine ordered and can’t wait until it gets here. You mentioned there wasn’t a firmware update yet but I believe there is one. If yes.. please make a video when you do your update OK? We would all love to see you do.. thanks man.. greetings from the states. 73- Gary KC6SWL
I wouldn't hesitate to do the firmware update straight away. When my TX output started failing, I did it straight away... so no video and perhaps even too late... There is no benefit to sitting on factory firmware, trust me!
What do you mean your TX output started to fail? On your 7610? What happened?
It started rolling off in RTTY in FM modes, and eventually SSB. Basically, with TX Power set to 100%, it would only put out 8 watts by the time I decided to put it back in the box.
Its with Icom, hopefully I will have answers for everyone soon :)
I guess Im kind of randomly asking but do anyone know a good site to stream new tv shows online?
@Ali Cayden i would suggest Flixportal. You can find it on google :)
Thank you for helping me set up my IC-7610. KB3UEK 73's

Thanks Richard! Stay on this frequency I'll have a few new ones out tomorrow :)
Hey Jarrod, enjoying the series and wondering if Hiro and the team at Icom Australia should sponsor the channel or apoint you as the aussie Ray Novak . l'm convinced that your influence has already worked on one Yaesu fanboy like VK3MDH when he produced a IC-51A from his kit on that outing where he also needed your assistance in getting FT8 to work on his Yaesu FT817! Well done with the vids to date!
Marshall Graham that would be nice Marshall, but I am committed to independent journalism. If any manufacturer wanted to lend me a piece of equipment with no conditions, I would be happy to cover its strengths, weaknesses and use cases from a user’s perspective, but I certainly won’t accept a free radio for a 100% positive video. :)
Great Video ; but please get that yaesu meter off
that beautiful radio (lol)
I have own a few icom radio but i am a flex radio man
"not really sure?" So why bother ?
