IC-7610 Ragchew & Laughs ft VK3BL, VK3CM, VK7VZ & VK3FCMC

The 40M Band was cracking hot this afternoon in VK3, so Jarrad VK3BL decided to catch up with a few mates and video it! :)
There's a bit of genuinely harmless locker room talk, a bunch of laughs, and of course some good samples of the IC-7610's received audio.

Sky1 they sure do! Condx was awesome that morning and I was very pleased to be able to record them. I’ve now added a mixer to the shack, so future videos will include 100% pure audio :)

What's your external speaker, there, Jarrad? Looks like an SP-23. Also, I'd enjoy hearing about your antenna setup. Thanks!

Dear Mike, the external speaker is a Yaesu SP-2000. I know its probably bad luck to combine different brands, but I really like the look and sound of that speaker, and how easy it is to use the analogue filters :). In the near future, the radio will be patched into the studio monitors, one of which you can just see behind the microphone with a yellow cone. They're great powered speakers; because they take a balanced input and have built in amplifiers, I can transmit QRO with no RFI what so ever! Thanks for the comment, 73 Jarrad VK3BL :)
