Another Hong Kong vlog, another travel vlog in this foodie city.
This week’s adventure starts with a visit to Victoria Peak. I went to the Sky Terrace to get amazing views of the city and of Victoria Harbour. (priceless b-roll footage for my Hong Kong videos) The shopping mall at The Peak has Mak’s Noodles which is famed for its Michelin Star Wontons. The portions were tiny, but the wontons were delicious and worth the try. (I ordered a second bowl)
Then I had a famous Pineapple Butter bun at Kam Wah’s cafe. It’s eating butter to a whole new level. Every bite was devilishly yummy. That brunch was a bargain and a perfect opportunity for budget travellers wanting something local and delicious.
I got paranoid from all the butter and downed a traditional Chinese medicine tea once I got a chance! These places are everywhere and the teas on offer are for general health to detox and cleanse your body.
I finish the week by heading to Sheung Wan and exploring Central Market. Dinner was amazing at another local foodie institution - Lin Heung Kui, this place is old but gold.
