Ben Ben my man I think the word you were looking for was affordable, Pdp is professional level at an affordable price point. Nice drumming my friend
Ben is an amazing drummer and an all around great guy!! Hope he does more videos for PDP. Especially that killer wood hoop PDP kit he's got!
Not a fan of those heads, but they would sound good with any good head. VERSATILE...like You!
Just to show you that you dont have to pay 10000000 dollars for a dw lol
They are not cheap anymore
Ben was my son’s first drum teacher! Love this guy! Great drummer and teacher!
The Concept Maple wood hoop bop kit is perhaps best sounding kit ever made.
man love my concept maples as it was THE best purchase for me....Since bought them prices are up $150 but man evan at that prices totally worth it.....drums are amazing, threw on a 30 gauge snare wire, using a pdp concept snare wax or something with an evans hd dry batter, toms evans g2s all around...simply amazed at the sound....buy these and spend your $ on some great cymbals......
Bought my first pdp kit in 2013. Hard to believe it’s already been ten years. I played guitar in a band for a handful of years and when I first started rehearsing with the guys, my buddy had his cheap 1980s Tama kit, which sounded decent. But the room was engineered for music. Bass traps, diffuser, etc.
I offered to bring my pdp maple kit up to our jam studio and I can say with confidence the Concept Maple drums can hang with any of the top dog drum companies. The projection was incredible, the entire kit sounded wayyy better than the Tama.
When we got a new drummer to record with us, he brought his Gretsch USA Custom to the studio and I don’t think they sounded any better than the PDPs. Slightly more attack, but the tone was a tie. The gretsch shells were also slightly deeper than my PDPs, so the tone was a little higher pitched. The gretsch would have been perfect for a jazz band or something, but the PDPs were absolutely perfect for punk rock, rock, etc.
Just the greatest video! ya showed off every angle. Awesome. Cant wait to get one some day.
These drums are amazing but you gotta replace the factory heads to get a good sound
and get yo edges done
@@jojothetasmaniansassmonkey8866 What does ego got to do with the sound? Ego comes from the player not to drums
