Hey PDP/DW/Roland: You know how when a new guitar pedal or amp comes out, everyone drops a video on it at the same time? Why isn't it so with drums? Like no one has videos of these recent snares. Couldn't you set up a few retailers and UA-camrs up with some and do a proper launch? Brick and mortar stores have been dead for 20 years. This is how we consumers get a sense of stuff.

Love my PDP CLASSICS; mine have the brown shells w/blond hoops, 14x18, 8x12, 14x14. Yours sound great, by the way.

The way he pulled it out of the box, seems like it doesn't weigh anything at all, as in cheap. I think i'll avoid this one.

Reminds me of the old Mapex snares before they came out with their Black Panther series.

I love how this snare looks, but I find aluminum to be dry sounding. Steel is my favourite material.

These drums have very low quality lugs & tension rods. Burrs and imperfections every time ya put a new head on. Ridiculous.

RCI shells?

good ol' chinese made production kit with the PDP badges on it. Even the toms are the old-style PEARL mounts vs the Clamp mounts. and these are pricey for just cheapie poplar shells. the hardware seems decent, but this is a $450 kit all day long. Cheers.
