Some cats and dogs get along beautifully so don’t just assume
+choosehope8729 I 100% agree with you, but you would have to introduce the dog and cat very slowly. And this also depends on the dog breed too.
But when dogs are say being trained to be a K9-unit: It wouldn't surprise me if the cat got in the way unless the dog was being trained in an enclosed space that the cat wouldn't be allowed in for the time being. But if that room happened to have say a window-would never stop a cat from observing what's going on and how the dog is being trained. I can easily see Donut doing something like this if he gets along w/the dog.
I agree with you b/c I have a 15-year old lab mix dog with a 1 year old mixed cat (he's def. mixed breeds). Despite not having the signature "M," on his head, I like calling him a Tuxedo Tabby cuz he has Tabby markings, but a pure white chest + white stomach with tiny hints of brownish-orange including sock paws. I think he has a tiny hint of brown on 1 of his paws too. My dog didn't know what to do at 1st & accidentally had his whole mouth on our cat's ear when he was a kitten, but then I realized, I think he was trying to carry him like a mama cat would, but didn't know how to do so properly. He was only 5 weeks old when my mom rescued him. Despite my dog & cat's tiffs when they were younger, they get along great now.
