The lady with the black hat is from the Victorian / Edwardian era. Her manners also express the time instead of the 20s which we stereotype as more loose fitting.
This show has so much potential and is full of iconic characters. I like how the teacher treats history class like gym class, Blatsy is so wholesome and definitely doesn’t deserve the extreme bullying he gets at school (who’s with me on going to that school to make the bully leave him alone) and ghosts, don’t even get me started on the ghosts.

When June and the ghosts took the first picture, I expected it to turn out haunted or something. When it showed her alone, I thought she was crazy and the ghosts were imaginary. And I still think so. That would be a dramatic twist.

She’s never had anybody be genuine with her, she has never had healthy boundaries because she’s been given everything, and June gives some semblance of reality and meaning to her otherwise unsatisfying unauthentic existence. She can’t process June in a healthy fashion, and the only way she can be sure someone is authentic is by being a villain to them. If someone is openly against you, at least you know they’re being real.

It wasn't the right time for either of the studios -- Disney, especially, because they already had "The Ghost and Molly McGee" in concept at the time, which they thought would be too similar a show to our concept. We are hopeful that we will be picked up in the future, though -- either by those studios or another. The best way fans can help is by spreading the media we do have the resources to produce (this pilot, and all the comic episodes) as far and wide as you can. The more networks see the demand for this show from fans like you, the stronger a case we can make to them.
Well, in your defense, they were basically foreshadowing the crap out of the beginning. It was like a slap to the face for me with every sentence that someone was gonna die.
Well, the pilot episode of Infinity Train was posted on 2017 and only on 2020 the program is comming (just a reminder, infinity train was thought to be a dead project even after, being said to be amazing ) so there is hope.
It’s insane how invested I am in this after just nine minutes! All the characters are fun and dynamic, the voice acting and animation is beautiful, the plot is delightful, dang i hope this gets a full show someday!

This was well done but damn I have seen this plot so many times before. Protagonist with something unique about them goes to HS where either A(girl) get bullied by the "mean" girls or B(boy) gets bullied by the jocks due to them finding them weird and later becoming close friends with a kid who is also in the same boat and/or is a social outcast just like the protagonist. I'm sure many movies/shows come to mind when this is read.

I hate how all shows now focus on making the animation simpler, making the colors much brighter, having big and bright words, saying stuff like "OOHHHHHH", etc. Yes, I know that's what makes the shows so popular with kids, but come on! It absolutely destroys the original versions of these shows. The only animated shows I like have simpler colors that give off more of a calm feel with more, curves I guess? Just not as sharp and loud as some shows. That's why I like this, gravity falls, steven universe, and a couple others. The only show that has a very cliche plot and bad animation is Miraculous Ladybug, and it's my guilty pleasure.
That honestly says more about the lower standard crap on TV today than it does about this. Not that this looks bad but a lot of the animations are too rigid and it's just overall not very professional looking, although considering it's a pilot episode it is pretty damn good and with some professional resources I could easily see it improving.
I came here because the art style reminded me of hilda, but now I want a full series with 3 seasons, a backstory for every ghost AND a reason to why her parents aren't in the group of ghosts ! ! ! (also comedy gold! *Chef's kiss*)

This pilot is absolute GENIUS. It's a 10/10 and I'd like to point out my reasons: 1- It's not afraid to make risky more "adult-centered" jokes, for even when it does, it's subtle enough and non-graphic for it to be funnny even for a kid. 2- It's great when it comes the little details, such as Cleopatra, Gandhi, Lincoln and Dante Alighieri at June's class, Blasty at the hall scene before he shows up after, or what it looks like and "investigation board" at her room, with the words: *"HEAVEN, UNDERWORLD, MOM, DAD". More on that last one on point 5* 3- It does stablish each character's personality and relation to each other to perfection, which would help the viewers in future episodes to enjoy more layers of them. 4- Each joke it's constructed and well presented before it happens: - The over-calmy way in which her Mom's speaks gives you a sense of something off - Sandy is not shown in the room scene so her first appearance is odd and shocking, which serves a good laugh. - The over the top movements of the receptionist makes the ghost showing up a hilarious surprise.. - The "WITCH!" joke is re-incorporated with added details, I can see it becoming a reocurring joke with different twists each time. - Showing the lip gloss to be gray and pointy makes the knife sound later to be even funnier. 5- It does leave some questions unanswered... Does June see her Parents as well? What's the key in her necklace? Excited to see more in the future.

This was well done but damn I have seen this plot so many times before. Protagonist with something unique about them goes to HS where either A(girl) get bullied by the "mean" girls or B(boy) gets bullied by the jocks due to them finding them weird and later becoming close friends with a kid who is also in the same boat and/or is a social outcast just like the protagonist. I'm sure many movies/shows come to mind when this is read.

I hate how all shows now focus on making the animation simpler, making the colors much brighter, having big and bright words, saying stuff like "OOHHHHHH", etc. Yes, I know that's what makes the shows so popular with kids, but come on! It absolutely destroys the original versions of these shows. The only animated shows I like have simpler colors that give off more of a calm feel with more, curves I guess? Just not as sharp and loud as some shows. That's why I like this, gravity falls, steven universe, and a couple others. The only show that has a very cliche plot and bad animation is Miraculous Ladybug, and it's my guilty pleasure.
That honestly says more about the lower standard crap on TV today than it does about this.
Not that this looks bad but a lot of the animations are too rigid and it's just overall not very professional looking, although considering it's a pilot episode it is pretty damn good and with some professional resources I could easily see it improving.

This pilot is absolute GENIUS. It's a 10/10 and I'd like to point out my reasons:
1- It's not afraid to make risky more "adult-centered" jokes, for even when it does, it's subtle enough and non-graphic for it to be funnny even for a kid.
2- It's great when it comes the little details, such as Cleopatra, Gandhi, Lincoln and Dante Alighieri at June's class, Blasty at the hall scene before he shows up after, or what it looks like and "investigation board" at her room, with the words: *"HEAVEN, UNDERWORLD, MOM, DAD". More on that last one on point 5*
3- It does stablish each character's personality and relation to each other to perfection, which would help the viewers in future episodes to enjoy more layers of them.
4- Each joke it's constructed and well presented before it happens:
- The over-calmy way in which her Mom's speaks gives you a sense of something off
- Sandy is not shown in the room scene so her first appearance is odd and shocking, which serves a good laugh.
- The over the top movements of the receptionist makes the ghost showing up a hilarious surprise..
- The "WITCH!" joke is re-incorporated with added details, I can see it becoming a reocurring joke with different twists each time.
- Showing the lip gloss to be gray and pointy makes the knife sound later to be even funnier.
5- It does leave some questions unanswered... Does June see her Parents as well? What's the key in her necklace?
