I love your music man. My girl passed away in January from covid. I work as a nurse and got sick (this was before the vaccines were out) and she was immunocompromised, multiple holes in her heart, severe asthma, other underlying conditions, and I gave it to her and she lost the fight 2 months before her 22nd birthday. I’ve always used music as an outlet, whether it’s writing it, listening to it, composing, whatever. You’re such a huge inspiration, your tone and style is so unique, thank you for being here man. Thank you for being part of the light in my life. Edit: Thank you all for the kind words. It amazes me to see how kind people can be to strangers they’ve never met.
Your story brought tears to my eyes. As a 20 year old man i couldn’t imagine going through what you’ve been through. My heart goes out to you and her, as well as your families. So much love in my heart for those suffering. Namaste 🙏
My wife actually didn’t survive the pandemic, but I did. I miss her more everyday and I’m just waiting for the day that it’s time to get off this ride and be with her again 4/24/20 Since my life lost love and meaning. *edit*: two years today. It hurts as much as getting the call she’s gone. It’s good to know that there are so many good hearted people out there and we haven’t lost what makes being human great thank you.
From someone that’s lost more than a heart can take, I wanted to join them too at one point, but, then I realized none of them would want that, they’d want to see me continue living and experiencing this world since they can’t anymore. She’d want to see you happy. Cherish your memories with her and learn the lesson that this life is short, so, never take anything or anyone for granted. Live on, live your best life, and love again someday, it’s the best way to honor her.
Stay strong my man. Life has dealt you the roughest hand, but life is worth living. When we lost a family member my grandpa said 'A person is not gone until the last memory of them has faded'. You are the carrier of the most intimate and personal memories of your wife. Im trying my best to not be disrespectful here, I hope Im getting my point across
The feeling will pass. The memories will stay, and more often than not it'll hurt remembering. But believe me, it does pass. It will always hurt, but after some time, it'll become that dull ache one has on remembering a great memory. Stay strong, alright?
This had me severely in tears. My gf had COVID and I just barely got out of 2020 alive due to some issues regarding my mental health. This one just reminded me of how dark it was for us and our country. And how lucky and grateful I am for making it through. Thanks Ichika Nito, you're always a strong and direct link to my deepest feelings.

My condolences to any and all who have lost loved ones. I lost my mom 12/5/20 then lost the love of my life , my beautiful wife 3/18/21. Words can not express how hard it has been raising our 3 children but they are the ones who hold me up and vice versa. They give me the strength to carry on in this unfair world where life seems to run against you. I write poetry about her I write melodies for her and yet I can not stop dreaming of her. My thoughts shall never escape the ghost of a world that echoes in her essence. She was my flame as I was her candle, lit only by the love we made. Left in the cold dark I realize how precious how short how cruel this life is and how important it is to seize each gracious moment with your family.
Ichika nito is one of my biggest inspirations. I wouldn't have any passion left for guitar if it wasn't for this man and a few others. So thank you, Nito, for being incredible.
I've seen many great shredders and guitarists over the years. But Ichika tops them all, with his incredible ability to convey emotions in wildly technical playing
I know a lot of us suffered from death of a close one, or went though a process of believing they're gone, while they suffer. It is a pain a lot of us share, and you're not alone. The pain we share is what makes us closer, less lonely, less scared and afraid.
I lost my cat last friday 03122021. Ichi made my eyes swollen again in a good way. I miss you Abee. Thanx for been with me & my family all these years.
His phrasing and vibrato usage always reminds me of old Nintendo 16bit songs, that were all very busy and intricate, because they tried to imply multiple instruments. But he's doing it all on a guitar.
The suspension chord at the end gives a subtle hope. To everyone who has lost someone, I hope and pray that you too will one day find hope and joy again.
My girlfriend (男朋友) Jingipoonga died this summer of COVID-19. I had only known her for 3 months but it felt like I knew her my whole lifetime. Every day with jingi was exciting and fresh and i couldnt wait to spend my whole life with her. But she refused to get vaccine after seeing fox news too much times. When I lost her I thought I had nothing to live for but after watching your video Ichika I picked up a guitar and am now playing for many months. Im still not very good but when I listen to your playing I'm inspired and remind of Jingipoonger. thank you for this video and for all of ur videos Much Love, Dan
