His tone makes no factual sense. Somehow his tapping is not only impossibly clean but also has such a beautifully sweet timbre and resonance to it. I want to believe that it's just in the mastering but let's face it he's probably just actually THAT good. Damn...

    • @einaschern

The tone is a combo of digital amp modeling that lets you do things analogs can't, the in between positions on a guitar (look up 'strat quack', found in lots of Dire Straits stuff), and I guess a portion of it is the supernatural playing that comes from being by possessed by the Ghost of Shredding Past. Which would by the way be a cool song name..

@@ハイジ-0 Some people just have the talent. He is a Virtuoso of the guitar, his playing, his tune, his technique.. are so clean due not only his ability but the 5 years of his life, spent practicing and studying. While we, mere mortal guitarists practice our instruments once per day for a couple of hours or even less, Mr. Nito over here might've spent whole days, weeks, months practicing for hours and hours without losing a fraction of his passion and talent of the guitar.
If we not take in consideration the 5 years spent on the guitar, he most probably already have a music-related background.
After all, we have the luck to witness and admire his talent.

I can feel the emotion, the longing to feel the embrace of their arms but being cut off every time you feel so close. The high hopes of wanting so badly to feel their warmth but knowing all too well that you can't weather because they are bad for you, or are no longer here, you can't hold their hand, kiss them, hug them, touch them, speak with them, cry with them. And it's such a somber, brooding feeling that will always get caught up in our throats.

You know, I just finished watching the series Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 and damn... I feel so empty in my heart, with all this bitterness and mental pain, but Ichika Nito’s music calms me. His music understands my feelings as if it was crying together with me. I think it distinguishes Ichika Nito from other musicians as his music describes real feelings. It's wonderful.

This song seems to scream serenity in the silence to me. Loneliness, yet contentedness. Feel yourself sink into the warm, stuffy cushion of the void, as you surpass depths never to be seen again. But remember the calmness in that void. You're at peace, but at what cost?

Thank you for reminding me of memories I should have cherished more.
