Don't get me wrong - 99.9% of the comments on my videos are really positive (thank you!) but the negative ones tend to have patterns and I thought it'd be fun to respond to them using the power of BASS! My goal for this video was just to show that while it's good to be open to criticism, hate comments are nothing to worry about and actually pretty good content material!

If you reply like this on hate comments... I have to write one myself. :D
Bass is just a * instrument! You can not even play Rachmaninovs Prelude in C Sharp Minor on it! :P
Glad you addressed them definitely bass deserves respect ✊
Look at it from the other aspect, you have garnered enough fame that you have earned your very own Trolls, and I commend thee for that.
You handled those comments, with grace and facts! 👌
Great content!

As a guitarist, I'm mind-blown seeing you play, mate. Only reason I can see someone hating on you is that they are frustrated with how good you are. Hats down dude. Impressive playing.
For sure. You're frustratingly good.
As a drummer, I'm mind-blown that people accept drum solos more than bass solos. I mean, aren't we mainly supposed to hold down a groove in a band aswell? I love a good drum solo, but let's face it - bass is a far more melodic instrument.
Oh, and of course Charles is a monster of a player and also very tasteful!
Absolutely!
Agreed !
I wouldn't even be able to come close to his level pf skill on guitar, I'm not even dreaming about it, this dude is mind-blowingly amazing, can't even describe it, it should be impossible or illegal to be this good, love watching him, he's amazing, people are probably jealous, I'm just proud I live on the same planet as him, at the same time, and that i can hear his ungodly playing.
I didn't even know there was people hating on bass solos, like for me every instrument can solo. Everytime I hear an unexpected instrument soloing in a song I'm like "hell yeah", like a flute? yes! A harpsichord? of course! Bagpipes? Hell Yeah! A chainsaw? ABSOLUTELY
Wow now I want to hear a chainsaw solo 🤣
TRIANGLE SOLO
Drum solo? Hahahaha

I've been a musician since your daddy wore diapers, and I find your videos extremely inspiring - you're not a frustrated musician - you are a musical polymath, and entertainingly so. Few can be this talented, and still have your positive outlook on the adventure of exploring sound.
Not all old men wear diapers. Some just crap themselves. haha
"Polymath". I love that word.
Imagine being a PRO guitarist and you just decide to bully a bassist, then they take your guitar and play your guitar better than you ever will play
that's it....I'm switching to BASS
Muhahaha 😈
A video of you doing anything on bass would be super cool.
MWAHHAHAHAHA
That's a contract breach. I want my soul back now.
Epic Choice!!!!
"If the music sounds good, it really doesn't matter that much what instrument is playing it" - spot on. Standing ovation.
Exactly! I'm a saxophonist and play songs that people sung originally then people say sing and really my saxophone is my voice. Music is music.
I totally agree. Imagine a life so crappy that you sit and send those kinds of comments to someone you don't even know. I'm not a musician, but I know great music and this is it!
Please pin this comment. This is absolutely true and any of us musicians should agree at least on that point.
So very true!
It's like they fear that your 16-bar improv will somehow invalidate their painstakingly-practiced Eddie Van Halen pastiche
I play banjo and bass because that's my comfort zone. Six strings? I just can't wrap my head around that!
I'm happy holding up others by holding down the rhythm. And if there's a place where I can do more than just 4/4 tonic & subtonic I guess it could be called a "solo", but I always just thought of it as an extended flourish, like sprinkles on a donut
Let the flash-kids be flashy. They've earned it.
Me, I prefer that grin from the drummer when we gots that groove a-goin'. In that moment I'm Bill Wyman and they're Charlie Watts, and there's no better feeling
Any true musician would not diss anyone with your dedication and skill. Inspiring for all instruments not just bass
You're awesome! They're just hating because they wish they were 1/2 as talented.
Call them a slow time signature 'cause they'll only ever be 1/16th as good ;)
If you were half as good as Charles you’d be really good.
Mate, I’d settle for 1/4 as talented!
Berthoud has no talent, either as a composer or as an interpreter. He is just show-off.
@@alvarogabrielaguirregarin3933I wanna see you play
As a professional bassist having lived in Nashville 21 years and played 3000-3500 shows, don’t lose any sleep over hate comments. Your musical voice is coming along wonderfully. I’m definitely humbled by your skills.
Wait so you were playing a show every few days that’s actually crazy. I really hope your not lying because that’s cool lol
@@steakfilly5199 Nope no lying here! It would vary, I would average about 5-6 shows a week. When I first moved to Nashville, the street called Broadway where all the honky tonks are, had between them about 10 stages. With 1-4 shows a day, each show 3-4 hours long. When I left 21 years later, there were roughly 40 stages lol. You can literally play every day all day if you want to. My last year playing before covid shut everything down and I moved back home I played 423 shows.
@@jackhartford521 that’s crazy dude I wish I had the time to do that

Lies. 21 years in Nashville, you've probably done over 5000 shows mate (hugs, joking around with you, must be special and fun to gig there, always wanted to).
I am completely tune deaf, I don't play any instrument and yet, I get you or, should I say, you get to me when I listen to your bass solos. As they say, you strike a note, your music resonates in my chest and takes me places, more so than any other instrument. So, THANK YOU!
They are just jealous. If they are anti bass solos, why do they watch your videos? Just keep on keeping on Charles! Aloha from Hawaii.
Great point. Why are they watching?
Was going to say the same thing. Some people can't just congratulate someone for being good at something. Some people are petty and treacherous, and just want to tear everyone down below their level.
All of the haters' comments are valid to some extent. Yes, the guy is quite obviously misusing a guitar as a portable "piano surrogate" - he's literally PRESSING KEYS on the imaginary keyboard he projects onto the fretboard. Yes, no one else in the world does that. Yes, it's a useless skill for real-life rock bands, since no one in a real band will tolerate those lengthy and intricate solos, or any kind of individualistic showing-off, for that matter. In other worlds, Charles is a postmodern, Vanessa-Maeish VIOLINIST in denial, considering himself a metallist rocknrolla dude while doing mostly shades of Well-Tempered Clavier.
Also, the phrase "solo bass" sounds wrong, because in 95% of those solos, some sort of drums are heard, so it's DUET bass. Without the beat, the bass guitar always sounds forlorn and drab, no matter how amazing the talent playing it is. Same is true for all string instruments (fiddle, cello, contrabass) - all except the acoustic guitar, which can sometimes produce passable standalone music.
There used to be an instrument called KEYTAR - a piano keyboard worn like a guitar, and I think Charles is trying to use an actual guitar IN THAT SAME WAY - that is, to fingertip himself through fancy PIANO STUFF without having to lug any kind of actual piano around. Also without the stigma of the nerdiness always associated with pianists.
Still, quite likely the best guitarist on youtube - or even best _musician._
On a side note: why doesn't Charles have the creepy long fingernails which ALL OF the other youtube GUITARISTS have? Looking at those fingernails is enough to turn 99% of aspiring musicians off guitar-playing, yet somehow a guy has achieved insane proficiency WITHOUT them dorky nails? What?!!
@@goodkinomankolyaevgrafov6412he's a bassist? Not a guitarist. Also tapping is a super common technique any rock and metal, and it is nothing like playing a piano. Also, long solos are extremely common in rock and metal, although they more often go to the guitarist, the bass can definitely play a solo too. Also, solo bass doesn't mean only the bass is playing, it means it's the focus. What a weird pseudo intelligent comment.
This comment makes zero sense and shows a misunderstanding of basically everything it talks about.
Here's a hate comment, I would hate a world without your bass solos.

Well, sir, I’m originally a guitarist, I had to learn the bass 16 years ago when my former bassist quit the band. 16 years later I’m still playing bass, different band, but I will not play solos. Not because of hate comments, but because I can’t. And I wish I could. What you do is pure art, and I absolutely LOVE watching and listening to you play. Thank you for this wonderful channel
Don't tell yourself you can't. Tell yourself you haven't learned yet. If you think you can't, you will never be able to. I have been playing bass for over 40 years and don't match Charles in soloing...yet. I've picked up a few good ideas from listening to him. It's changed the way I approach soloing.
NEver say you can't... Do or do not, there is no try.
@@sheilaolfieway1885 Didn't Kermit the Frog say that? I remember it being green. (kidding!)
That Yoda advice is some of the dumbest advice ever given. When it comes to musical instruments, of course there’s “try”. Try over and over, and then try some more. New licks, new skills, muscle memory. You have to master each little piece to get a complex phrase, and you have to do it over and over. Then, when you have mastered that little piece, explore it, modify it, change it…then again. In music - there is nothing but “try”.
@@Stalicone In order to try, you have to do.
Beethoven wrote Fur Elise, knowing that someday electric bass would exist to play it
I don't know if you're ironic. Or maybe you studied music at college.
I think the same thing everytime I play (or try to play) Fur Elise on piano. Lmfao 🎹
I'm trying to imagine playing it on an upright. Wish I had one to give it a shot...lol
Right!,…..you get it!

I turn 31 this year, and I regret not taking my music seriously as a kid. I played guitar and what-not, but I dropped them as I got older. I picked up Bass 3 days ago, and I love it. I suck (because...well, 3 days...) but I am having a blast. I doubt I will be able to achieve mad skills like yourself, but you are one heck of an inspiration. Keep on slapping.
The mix between melody and rhythm makes bass the ultimate instrument for me. And the way you combine the corresponding techniques (e.g. slap & tap) is just awesome. Keep it up, you are an exceptional talent!

@David Singleton well, you should probably come across bassists like victor wooten, but imo Charles is the best bassist on youtube and probably one of the best in the world.
@@avipatel7947 Davie 504 is pretty equal, I guess that given my hard rock background it is obvious that Davie relates on my ears a bit more.
@@suparosc02 Votum separatum on that. I came to Charles through Davie, and Charles is about only musician I listen to regularily. Except myself. But that seems to be inevitable being a player.
@@suparosc02 fair enough
@@suparosc02 I have to disagree on that. Davie504 is a really good bassist, but I don’t get the feeling of being one of the best in the world from him. You can hear as he struggles with some techniques or timing in some of his plays. Charles’ playing is crisp and gives a more refined feeing I hear in little to no other bassists. Charles is definitely more skilled. Maybe try listening to other good bassists then go back to Davie504. People tend to overrate him cuz he has a large platform, is very funny and many other people rate him. He deserves recognition, but I don’t think that justifies placing him on the same level as Charles. When going into listening to Davie’s plays, forget his skits and listen to the sound.
Hi Charles, I'm a 51 year old and have played bass since age 12. I would love to be able to play even just half the solos you do. I grew up being told that bass is not a solo instrument and that it is part of the rhythm section. Keep doing what you do, it is mind blowing.
I'm trying to think what other things are like that...Like if you start drawing and are told pencils are only for writing. It's like bass *wouldn't* have happened without bands, so it's natural to think bass is only part of a band (and the front man is boss and what he says goes). Like I took up delivering Shakespeare monologues once, because there's a magic in making them sound conversational instead of overblown--People assumed I was doing it to be in a play, part of a theatre troupe, so would discourage anything that might not work with the usual format.
So there's that, assuming no one would do anything except for a job, jobs that are already out there and well-known, maybe that's where a lot of this comes from.
Hey Charles, maybe giving Jeremy a lesson on bass virtuoso would make good content for a video :)
thats odd, i have been playing bass since i was 12 too
You are an amazingly talented musician, nice come back, sad there are so many jealous, narcissistic, and probably untalented people, you make me want to pick up this underrated instrument even though I've played guitar most of my life, like you say its about the music and if you inspire people to give it a go all the better, well done.
Those haters are nothing but jealous. I've been playing guitar for 30 years (this year) and because of your videos I finally decided it was time to buy a bass. And you, you're the most talented and skilled I've ever seen.

I haven't played my bass (I have 3) in over 20 years as I have no one to play with. Your videos have shown me I don't need anyone to play with, thank you. At 60 I sadly need to learn everything over again as I don't even remember music theory or my modal exercises. Your videos really inspire though.
You can do it!! When you relearn be sure to post some videos of you playing!
If you really like the bass then I'm 100% sure you will be able to come back and your passion is what will help you sky-rocket no matter what your age is. Good luck man I'm rooting for you!
That is a life goal. I haven’t played bass for 20 years too. You motivated me to play again.
Get a looper and play with yourself. 😇
50 now, played bass from 14 to about 25 and quit to be there for my kids (was either sleeping, working, or gone doing band stuff). Youngest got to high school age and a lil voice started whisperin.
Step one was picking up a cheap acoustic bass and putting it in the living room next to the TV and computer desk. Even if just for a few min here and there, with it out I was grabbing it to mess with it. Step two is playing with someone/something else. I essentially forced an old friend to dust off his old guitar and play with me. Sounded mauling at first, but was fun to have someone to play with. Other jam along options exist here on You Tube if you search "drum track XXX bpm", "bass jam track" or something similar. Working on learning songs from your favorite bands also a great option. I favor open jam formats to playing along with covers as i think jams teach you a bit more about what your fret board options are. Obviously working on covers is super valuable if a cover band is a goal of yours.
Step one (actually start playing again) and step two (jam with other people when you can and/or along with music) can be indefinite, until you have your chops back, or until you have a decent "set" list of covers you know. It actually took me a lot less time to get back to where I was as a kid than I thought it was going to, and by adding actual music theory to the mix this round I'm a much better overall musician.
Step three was getting back into a band. I got lucky (bass player keeping my seat warm left right when i started looking) and hooked up with some amazing musicians in my age range. With that band for about 3 years now. My oldest say we are the Webster definition of a dad band, and I would have to agree, but I'm having a blast with music again! Definitely a zillion times better bass player now than I was as a kid (though there are pieces i wrote as a kid that are still challenging to play now, go figure).
As one formerly retired bass player to another; It's never too late! You got this, just gotta WANT it while also having the patience to keep at it for for the long game. It's gonna be a several year project.

I was thinking the same thing.
Strangely enough, I get it. I saw G3 many moons ago with Joe, Steve, and a very young Kenny Wayne Sheppard. Catherina, that is generally my thought on it. Some watch a video or learn a chord and think themselves experts.
100% can’t play instruments well
Screw them. You have achieved in life what they can only dream of.
Dreams are for people with imagination.
If you think most people have any imagination at all, you GROSSLY overestimate your species. Most people are mindless drones and wouldn't be anything else if they were born into a family of billionaires.
I used to play bass as a kid, I was never really any good because I didn’t know what a bassist should be doing, but 20 years on I do know what a bassist should be doing and you’re doing exactly that. Listening to your playing is an inspiration and I show your videos to my daughter who is just starting to play in bands herself. I’d love to know how you learned (we could never afford teachers when we were kids).
Bro, I love everything about your videos, your skills are second to none, a true musical genius! So much respect from a drummer and electronic music producer
I have been a bassist for 40 years...and I'm pretty sure you are the most talented bassist I've ever heard. Respect.
Agree. He is probably the best bassist I've ever heard too, and I played 50 years. Playing melody along with the bottom is something most of even the most technically gifted players don't master.
A lot of people ("purists"?) would reply: "NO WAY! WHAT ABOUT VICTOR WOOTEN? WHAT ABOUT JACO? JACO WAS THE BEST EVER, NEVER TO BE SURPASSED!!!". Those are just ridiculous statements really. They indicate an idolatry of a past (or even current) great, but refuse the potential that something can be taken further and built upon. To loosely paraphrase a quote: "This gentleman stands on the shoulders of the greats that came before him". And I agree that he's probably the most capable, and creative bassist I've ever heard in my 58 years. But that doesn't diminish Jaco, Victor Wooten, Stanley Clarke, Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Berlin, etc., etc. one bit. The "who's the best" argument I've heard (usually about guitarists) since the 70's in high school has always seemed dumb. Above a certain level, it's usually difficult (and just time wasting) to distinguish. Yes, when a Mozart, Allan Holdsworth, or
Chris Thile comes along, their unparalleled genius usually needs to be acknowledged, but for the rest of us mere mortals, "the highest mountain peaks around the world don't really differ vastly in elevation". They're all (mountains and musicians) way the hell up there and mind-blowing in their majesty. Just my unsolicited more-than-2-cents on a topic semi-related to the preceding comments...🙂
Charles is definitely the most talented... He's educated in music and all the greats before him would probably honestly say he's the best.
There are some amazing bassists in technical death metal
But you rarely see them these days
(They are doing other stuff)
@@azmanabdula Dominic Lapointe is a fuckin phenom, for sure.
You are not a failed guitarist you are in fact better than most successful guitarists
I'm play the guitar cuz I suck ass at bass.
My favourite video so far. Thanks for good and encouraging thoughts shared out for everyone to ponder on
I've always like the bass undertone and thought it should have more of a spotlight. Then I stumbled upon your videos and was blessed with watching such a talented musician. I'm blown away by your ability and talent. If people are hating what you do it's obvious that they can't appreciate someone who has mastered an amazing instrument, whatever it may be. There are plenty of us who absolutely love what you do. Keep on rocking, jazzing, funking it up Charles, because you are the man and they can't handle that! Love your videos.
“It kinda sounds like he wants me to play a
B A S S S O L O”
-charles
🤣🤜🏼🤛🏼Nuff said,Tuxedo bruh
I lost it when he shouted that then jumped to the solo 😆😂
I’m a professional bassist. Been playing for forty years and I’ll never be half as good as you. You are incredibly and get sounds from the bass most of us can only dream of. Love your channel. Keep on playing!!!
I'm a bassist too (not professional but I'm in a band and I also play piano, guitar, and drums) and I wish I was half as good as him
You are absolutely amazing. Captivating. Thank you so much for sharing your hard work with us!
This is why we need to remember to comment positive things! I've noticed that many people assume that commenting content online equals giving hate. We are allowed to voice the good stuff. In fact, we must do it. Spread love and joy 😊!!
I have troubles with higher pitched sounds like many played in most guitar solos, your bass solos give me a chance to enjoy highly technical solos without the struggles of listening to high pitches
I feel you man, some people like the treble sounds and some people prefer the bass sounds
Yeah honestly, I play guitar and I have no clue why people think the sudden change in pitch sounds good
Grooves, solos, tap, slap, finger style... Anyone who says Bass is “easy” has never picked one up and attempted to play. This is pure raw talent mixed with years and years of practice right here. Or, dare I say it... “Pure Genius”!
Bass is easy if all you do is plonk plonk plonk plonk... Then get uspet if anyone dares to show you up. Jealousy is all these haters are full of (Well, maybe not all they're full of, eh?).
Well it is unless you get into slap. Especially if you are a classical guitarist and you are used to alternate picking to the rhythm.
Good groove and dynamic and good note choices are a must for a professional musician so leave them atta the equation.
I think bass is more physically demanding since the strings are thicker and the neck is longer. Gotta have good forearm strength to do all the things Charles does.
Its almost hard to believe how twisted some people can be to give you ANY hate comments. I absolutley love what you do. Gets my head bobin and a smile on my face ! I play drums, guitar, cigar bow guitar, piano and bass. You are an inspiration !
Insane talent, working my way through your videos and hooked
OG r&b bassist from the 70s , 80s, I can listen to you play all day. You've raised the bar for bassist around the world. They're either going to hate or embrace!
As a person with ears, who loves music and appreciates musicianship, I would like to hear more bass solos please! 😉
Where does talent like this find a home in a world whose inhabitants are satisfied by pop music that contains melodies that are barely more complicated than Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?
I think that because people have thier standards incredibly low it should be possible to outshine others. The problem always seems to be finding the balance between complexcity and simplicity.
Why to response to those who do not understand or feel the music You play?) The music, the style, the manner, the technique - all things You do get me really really happy! The mere fact that there are such great universal young musicians on Earth is very encouraging. Thank you, Charles!
Just so wowww! You are so creative. My daughter is a big fan of yours and it’s her who introduced me to your channel. You are such a role model to my 12 year old bassist vocalist. Thank you for being so inspiringly creative 🙏🏼😊 God bless
totally. precisely true man
I am sure I can speak for a wide chunk of your audience when I say: "Don't worry Charles, you're one of the best bass player ever born"
This just made me so much feel better about how I was playing bass back in the day. I also thought that bass should just be played like people expect it to be played. I loved messing around with strumming, picking or "solos" etc. You and Davie have made me want to play bass again, after yeeeaaars of not playing. You both do make me want to either jam on that bass or other times, just look at it in the distance with tears in my eyes that I will never be as good as you guys 😅
I have started recently playing bass, and i would like in one moment of my life i could play as well as you do. Gratis work man and good luck.
Haters take out their own failures on other people, I feel sorry for them.
At first, I thought you were a clever, flashy bass player. After watching two more of your videos, I subscribed. I subscribed for two reasons: 1) You have quite the sense of humor that leaves me smiling. 2) You are a bass virtuoso and quite an accomplished musician. I am politely envious of your commitment, talent, and the time you've put in to get as polished as you have on the instruments I've seen you play. Keep up the great work.
That's almost EXACTLY the same process I had with him! The thing that won me over was that he made me laugh a LOT on his "15 types of bass players" video. I think I've been several of those guys in my 35 years playing bass.
Thank you for sharing all youtube videos, i watch them every day allmost, are very nice and inspire me to get a bass guitar
I found and subscribed to your channel last month and am so glad I did! You are a master in your ability!!
One day, a guy wanted to be a bassist, but when he saw Charles Berthoud playing, he decided to go to something easier: now he is a guitarist :-)
I made that choice before I came across Charles, but this cements my decision 😂
LMAOOOOOOO
*sad wonderwall noises*
...he decided to go to something easier: he left a hate comment...
Guitar is just as hard as bass wtf
I sang in my mom's best friend's wedding and one of the songs I sang was The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson. As I stood in front of everyone holding my instrument the crowd murmured "is that a bass?" I sang the whole song playing only the bass line and everyone loved it. There are no rules to music. To each their own and especially when someone has something unique and they master that, it's all the more impressive I think.
Well, there is that 1 little unwritten rule that you have to enjoy yourself playing whatever you want to play. If you like it, somebody else probably will too.;)
Well there is good old Fever from Peggy Lee, a simple bass line which carries the song. So I most definitely see no problem.
I find this very unlikelly to happen unless your friends guests all musicians. As someone who stumbled there by youtube algorith and watched like 15 videos , i would definitelly not manage to differentiate between the bass and a guitar by looks only. Probably by sound too.
Picked up my first bass in 1975.
Just…. thanks, young man.
You make my face smile, and my mind go, I really like this guy.
Really.
Love your playing! Keep it up!!!! As a trumpet and piano player I'm more familiar with the treble clef but have always loved the deeper tones of the trombone, bass, and cello and, if I had it to do over again, would focus more on one of those instruments. I would say that the haters are probably not capable of appreciating or playing at your level, otherwise they would simply sit back and enjoy the music. Bravo maestro!! Encore!!!
I like the clarity. I can follow your fast intricate parts without missing a beat. 👍
I can never understand elitists who think that bass is such a bad (or at least very boring) instrument. Your music always blows out of the water man. Keep doing you
Most elitist, with most things, are people who aren't actually that competent or knowledgeable in the task or field.
More like trolls ....attention seeking.
I straight up didn't know what bass was capable of until I started watching this channel.
...but then again, I never thought basses couldn't solo.
They don't understand a very basic concept of modern music: you may not always be able to hear the bass in the mix, but you will always hear when the bass isn't in the mix.
It blows the smoke out of the water
On the old "failed guitarist" line: I actually did switch from guitar to bass for one of my bands. That didn't make me sound like a bassist though. I sounded like a guitarist playing single notes on a particularly deep-sounding guitar. When they say that stuff they're always just revealing that they don't really understand how music works.
"Single notes on a deep guitar" Perfect description. As a drummer, I found that guitarists playing bass without actually learning bass first didn't hit the strings hard enough to sound good, muted everything (which sounds awful on bass) and had no idea how to play in sync with me.
@@HorologicRannygazoo Bass is a melodic drums and drums is a rythmic bass.
As an experienced guitarist, I have to say that recording bass and learning to do it properly has been extremely challenging and has pushed me to pay a lot more attention to tons of details in my guitar playing I previously wasn't even conscious of.
Amen!
Love your work! It inspires me to step outside the box. 🥰
Ummmm..my mind is blown how could you ever hate Charles? He’s such a cool dude..AND THE POWER OF BASS IS OMNIPOTENT..who cares about the haters your fans love you charles!
🤜🏼🤛🏼
I'd love to see a video where you complement a guitar solo with a solid backing bass and then complement a guitar solo with a bass solo, then following that up with taking a solid guitar rhythm and soloing over it with bass. Bonus points if it is done with different genres for each version.
Check out his video with Ichika
@@smack_dab Yeah, I saw that one awhile go. I meant with him composing all of it and possibly doing different genres.
You are incredibly gifted with bass playing skills. I’m a beginner guitarist but your bass playing fascinates me. It makes me want to try out bass. Keep it up!
I’ve recently discovered you’re videos, what a brilliant, funny man. Your musicianship is unbelievable. All power to you sir. Hate comments? I guess you don’t fit into their boxes of what being a musician is.
I've been playing bass for 40 years, and you make me want to quit (out of jealousy). Keep up the great work. :)
funny, ive never played bass and he makes me wanna play bass :)
Don’t let the haters get you down, Dude.
Don't worry I'm all good, I just thought I'd have some fun with them 😉
Love that version of Overjoyed. I really like your channel also. I appreciate your dedication to your craft. As a musician I recognize the effort you have put into mastering your instrument. I know the hours it takes. So bully for you mate! Keep slapping and tapping!!
Love your channel. Keep up the good work!
