Would this be the same installment for a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with OCS sensors and heated seats. . I am asking because the drivers lower cushion and seat cover need to be replaced and I cannot find the replacement seat foam for this truck that says it is for OCS. That all say they don’t fit if the truck has has sensors. I have even checked with 1a auto and they have nothing. I do not know what to do. Could you help me?
Well I tried it today and no5 quite that easy for me. Fresh foam is not so easy to get cover back over it.
How do you remove the white plastic bar on the inside of the seat of a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica? Needing to remove the seat cushion on it, all is freed but these two long things, which seem to be glued to the inside of the metal seat frame.
Can the heating pad be transfered over or should a heated seat cushion spec be purchased
I would like to know that too. Also can you order seats WITH the OCS sensors or are those purchased seperately and then out under the cushion?
These seats are different than my 2004 or do 1500 and 2500 have slightly different seats? I bought a front seat from a 2002 1500 to go in my 2004 2500 and they were the same, no plastic around the bottom. The bottom foam on my seat is now getting broke down and I would like the 2006 and newer upholstery in place of the velour stuff on mine.

Is there an actual risk of the air bags going off while removing the seat for some reason? or is this just one of those extreme "just in case" measures?

+ironhorse67 As long as you leave the battery disconnected for at least 30 minutes they will not go off.

I managed to change the foam without taking the whole thing a part.
Back of seat stuck forward how to release
Lol...okay..but who replaced foam and not ripped cover which caused damaged foam?
Soooo you know you can do this without doing 90% of what this guy did lol leave seat in truck and plugged in, just take off the lever and the cover for the seat controls, unclip the seat cushion cover and bam, comes out, put cover on new foam and put back on seat
Lol I was thinking the same thing when I watched this! I replaced cover and cushion without having to take out the seat. 🤷🏼♂️
