to anyone wondering about the torque on the sway bar links, 20 pounds on those and 45 on the bushing bolts for the swaybar.

What bushings are those on the sway bar ? Do they differ from the Mega cab?

Hi 1A Auto, I just wanted to ask. My 2001 Dodge ram 2500 Being a solid axle truck, I just changed my front sway bar links and bushings. Should I worry about them being on an angle? I had a hard time aligning the sway bar by myself.

Does that fitting on the bottom of end links have to be greased when installing new end links?
i know we used to use vasoline for installing energy suspension bushings on foreign cars
My 07 ram looks completely different. (2wd) The tie rods are in front of the end link, so i cant rotate the sway bar forward. Also, the lower control arms have a different look. This job required one different size box wrench, a 17mm instead of 18mm. Either they redesigned this in 08 (I dont think so), or my truck is a different variant with the tow package, maybe a different sway bar. Weird and confusing.
Mine are exactly the way you explained yours are I have the same mode 07 5.7 hemi 2wd any tips for when I do mine also Im gonna be swapping out the bushings on the bar also can you confirm that they are 32mm Thanks

hmm shouldnt you have installed opposite of whay you did and face the grease fittings foward and stll maintaining the angle of lower part of link om sway bar....just asking

Shouldn't the weight of the truck be on the suspension when tightening the sway bar bushings?
I think so, too. That’s why I use ramps vice jacks for this job.
My 07 must have a different lower a arm , it has a triangle hole that you can't get a wrench in , and I can't use a socket because it will just spin , have to have a Allen wrench to hold the stud , but then can only use a wrench , which won't fit in that triangle hole at All

Can bad end links cause my truck cab to rock side to side at higher speeds?

mean the death rattle ..yea worn tie rods did mine now goona do bar links previous owner did nothing all original .

About 45 minutes?
45 minutes ??? It literally takes however long it takes you to assemble a very few tools and turn them and so long as you do that in the correct order. *hint ( this vid was NOT done in the correct order ). And of course remember; As always, don't tighten/torque anything until you've either dropped the vehicle or preloaded the suspension
