Thankkk youuu soo soooo muchh .. This topic have troubled me a lot since a month. I have seen a lot of videos but couldn't able to make sense of them. But your video with Examples made my mind clear ❤ lots of love
Vmax is steady because when enough substrate is present, enzyme becomes fully saturated (all of its active sites are bound by substrate) and thus it is operating at its highest rate - it cannot bind more substrates so the rate cannot increase. The rate does not change anymore no matter how much more substrate you add
This video deserves more views. So nicely explained, was a total confusion, but now crystal clear after watching this video, thanks Jo, keep it up

Amazing video ❤
What is the mechanism used to keep Vmax steady at the end of a reaction? PLEASE someone explain!!
Vmax is steady because when enough substrate is present, enzyme becomes fully saturated (all of its active sites are bound by substrate) and thus it is operating at its highest rate - it cannot bind more substrates so the rate cannot increase. The rate does not change anymore no matter how much more substrate you add
