- Toni Reviews is a youtube channel dedicated to real rider reviews, from a London born and bred cockney. Here I take a look at the TCX Hero Vintage Series Boot. I purchased these boots for £159 from Urban Rider (online) and they come in brown and black.
*Point i'd like to add to the review- These boots do tend to mark quite easily, as you can see mine are slightly scuffed and this is the first wear since a clean. If you want to keep them looking good you will need to dubbin / polish them regularly. Alternatively they can look quite nice marked, quite worn- but if you dont like this look then they take quite a bit of upkeep.

they're great boots. i find them so comfy even as regular footwear off the bike. I think you will like them. only issue is they do mark easily, but some dubbin or polish should rectify that

These are beautiful boots. Well worth the money, being CE certified and still being nicer looking than most other shoes I own. Great for flying too

TCX makes very nice boots.... I've got a couple pair and have had no issues...
yes these are well over a year old now ands lovely boots. so comfy from day one and feel well made. Definatelty would buy TCX again
Nice one. It's rained a bit since you bought them. Have you had the opportunity to test their waterproof feature?
HI. yes ive been out in showers in them and completely fine. not experienced a real heavy downpour in them, but have been caught in a couple of showers and they are great so far!
I wanted to ask where you got your jacket as well? I just love your style. Is there a MEN'S version or is that unisex. Looks neutral to me but thought I'd ask anyway. Please and thank you. Love your Triumph Speed Twin as well.

What is the sizing like , are they true to size
Yes I’m a 6 and the 6 fits perfectly normal. Such a comfy pair of boots they literally feel like trainers they are so comfy. They’ve never felt like a clunky pair of boots even when they were new. Really heat. I’d definitely buy another pair of tcx based on these

I considered these boots but I'm concerned they won't breathe. My feet sweat a lot and I am worried I'd rot them out from the inside
Hmmm I wish I could give an answer to that. I suppose if your feet sweat in boots then they will also sweat in these. They’re really great boots, but I’m not sure how they would fair in your circumstance. Hope this has helped. 👍

I have been searching for a good pair of riding/casual boots for years for my US size 11 wide feet. A zipper is a must.
I even considered getting these and cutting out the gussets. It's gotten to the point where Im looking at Harley Davidson branded boots, lol.
