First thing I did on my Duke 390 was tail tidy and bar end mirrors to get rid of antenna mirrors and long fender. Now it looks so clean and proper.
Every single person I’ve ever met told me not to get a r3 due to resell value and whatnot. Something still makes me think I should get one. Also I’m a beginner rider

It's a perfect starter bike and a good stepping stone to a higher cc bike.

@@hiddekemperink9407 From owning both, the R3 is a better street bike than a 1300cc Hyabusa.
Those indicators look fine (on the tail tidy, which is a vast improvement, looks-wise) - at least they're nice and visible! :P
After installing every manufacturers tail tidy, Evotech performance makes the nicest. Not just a piece of stamped steel with visible wires. Evotech are made from billet aluminum which is made hollow for wires. Premium fit/finish and truly plug and play, no splicing for license light or turn signals.
How do you get enough money for buying a bike... I am 16 and live in South Africa.. So vehicles are very expensive.. So yah just asking wat do you yunglings do to get the greens???

Yamaha needs to chill with the huge pumpkin turn signals! Doing a fender eliminator with both an integrated taillight and small discrete LED signals on my MT-07 improved the looks 100%.

Yammie / baby yams, I have an unrelated question. I've rode dirt bikes in the past and my buddy is trying to sell me his '96 cbr 600 for $1500 because he just bought a newer R1. He says all it needs is a chain and sprockets. Thoughts, questions, concerns? I feel like it's a good idea to buy a cheap bike -as opposed to a new one- to get comfortable on and not be devastated if i lay it down.
Based on the Kelly blue book value of trade in at 1,185 and dealership sale at 2500 it's not terrible assuming there's nothing else wrong with it. A new chain and sprocket would probably be 150-200, but I'd do a thorough inspection of the bike as I suspect the carbs need to be cleaned and who knows what else. Definitely not a bad deal though

Really like the tail tidy job, but can anyone explain why Yam didn’t do this video with a new set of blinkers? I feel like when he gets new blinkers he’s going to have to take the old blinkers off by removing this new tail tidy again

I have a 2019 suzuki gsx-r125 and I would love to install a tail tidy, if I install it myself will my bike still have warranty?
That's a matter of the dealership, which is what I assume you bought it from, some of the times yes, some of the times no. Since it's not a performance part theres some wiggle room
Would only impact the warranty if it caused the issue. If you somehow short something while installing, not covered by warranty. If your engine blows up randomly, warranty still valid.

Sport bikes aren't that high, I am 5'5 and I fit on supermotos🤷🏼♂️
The r3 is something like 30.7 inches and the seat is very narrow.
Check out TST industries. They got great turn signals for cheap and don’t forget the flasher relay PAPA YAM!
