Heather, I started watching your videos after Deep South Homestead mentioned you and what happened to your family. They said it would be another way that we could support you financially. I have fallen in love with your videos. I know that there has been a lot of time put into each and every one of them. I love watching them now. I watch probably two a day. I love to can and to cook again. Thank you for reminding me how to be a great mom, grandmother!
Same here, spending a lot of time watching them. They are so full of love and joy, reminding me of the privilege of providing food for my family and friends.
Georgia Garden Girl. Let the playlist run, including the long ads, even when you're in a different room. That helps Heather financially. And, her son set up a gofundme page. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏‼️‼️‼️
Each day I say a prayer that you will heal get to go home so you can be with your babies. I have followed you for years and send all those who need help to your video's as you are so good at teaching others. I always loved your soft and steady voice telling how to do so many things.. I admire you so. A every so soft hug from me.
Praying for you and your children. I just want to give you a gentle hug, cause I know you're not up to a tight squeeze. By the way I'm new to your channel. You are an amazing teacher. God bless you my new friend. Lots of love sent your way. Take care of yourself or let others do for you.
These look delicious! ❤️ And Mason and Mina (the Little’s) playing in the background is sweet music to my ears!! What precious babies you have!! ❤️ Mine are all grown and now I’m enjoying precious grandchildren! 👏👏👏💖
awwwwww thanks Mama! :D They play so much together now....Mina can finally understand simple instructions Mason gives to her! hahaha They were making forts all day today in their bedroom and building blocks! LOL Mason came to me and said, this is so much fun! HAHAHAHAHAA
This is so delicious sounding. Love that gizmo. Great idea. I already keep my flours, sugars etc in mason jars. Great tool to keep them fresh even longer.
Hi Heather. Thank you for teaching us all how to do this. My mom passed when I was only 9 years old. So I didn’t really have a mom to teach me some of these things. I really appreciate you taking time to do this for us. I am playing all your videos. Even the older ones. Praying for you to heal and praying fir your kiddos too. Don’t let go of God’s hand. Hugs... 😍
In the UK the home of worcestershire, the secret to pronounce it is knowing that we leave most of it is "silent". We call it "woo- sta" sauce. The "shire", if pronounced - in all our place names - is reduced to a "sha" or "shirr" So worcestershire is pronounced wustersha sauce. Where I live in pembrokeshire is pronounced Pem-bruk- sha, but we usually shorten it to Pembs as it is still a mouthful! I'm still using my own version of these beans in 2020 UK, enjoy all you videos.
Hey there Lady! Thank you for another great recipe. Beans are great but, it's nice to have a variety of flavors. TIME my friend... stay well & much love from Ma 2. I'm keepin' an eye on you & yours.
Omgosh!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have already wasted time and beans in 2 failed recipes. One that even promised to be better than Bushs baked beans. Ha! What joy when you find "the" recipe you have been looking for! Thank you so much!
Things I learned from this. The sugar content was too high to allow for softening of the beans dry. I had to reprocess after softening beans. The second batch I did the quick soak..added plumped beans to the jar 3/4 way topped with sauce. Great flavored recipe!
I got an All American 921 this month, I blame you for my obsession with these canners... been watching you use yours for a few years now lol. I really respect your skills and your passion for canning!!!
thank you! i know it makes the video long, but so many appreciate seeing the entire process, without skipping big parts to keep the video under 10 minutes. Some things just cant be edited or rushed. I am so happy you appreciate it. Took me 3 hours to edit this video! hahahaha
Hi Heather. I make this recipe all the time. But I soak my beans over night or I do the quick soak method. But either way they are so good. I also add 2 teaspoons of liquid smoke. We really enjoy these beans. I got the recipe from Homestead Tessie. But I love your videos. Thank you
+Sandy Atkins awwww thanks Sandy! I was hoping the video wasn’t too long winded but in order to show a canning process properly I feel like I can’t miss any steps. 😂
Just throwing the stuff in. That’s exactly the way I cook almost everything especially if I’ve made it before. I might follow the recipe if I’ve never made it before, maybe. I will measure if I’m baking only because I like my bread, cake, etc to rise, bake whatever.😁
I am so, so sorry to hear what happened to your family. My prayers are with you ever night. I love your videos so much!!!. ,and learning so much from you, I am watching all your videos God bless you.
I know you’re healing now. But I think you should make a book of all your recipes. So we can have them all in one spot. Thinking of you. Get well soon. ❤️❤️
I'm so cold! Need to can some beans to warm up the house! I made a "space checker" for my all- ameican. I cut old credit cards, 1" wide, stacked together and taped in the middle with duct tape. For mine it took 7 pieces, I only used the flat part, not the part that had raised letters or numbers. No more agonizing over leveling the lid!
Good evening from Texas! I’ve been binge watching your canning videos and just love them. 🥰 PS.... being a red blooded Texan, I can’t even imagine what thirty below feels like. Brrr is an understand I imagine. 🤠 🇺🇸
Heather I love your handheld vacuum sealer. I have to get my food saver out each time. I'm going to check that out on Amazon right now. Also, most people don't realize that you can reuse lids for vacuum sealing that have previously been used for canning. Great way to reuse those old lids. Just make sure they aren't too dented from opening or rusty. If they seal, you are good to go! Thanks mama!
you will love the hand held! i reuse my water bath lids, not my pressure canning lids, usually they are pretty nasty with not much seal left. hahaha but thats an awesome tip i agree, most might not realize!
Hi, you put a smile on my face just listening to your vidoes and I am sooo thankful and grateful that I still get to hear your voice. I am 68 years old and am starting to learn pressure canning and to not be afraid of my machine. I have heard the term rebel canning but I don't know what makes things "rebel". I really want to make this but can you tell me what's rebel about this recipe and if there's something I can do to make it ..... NOT REBEL (sounds funny to talk about a recipe being rebel???)
I found a similar recipe that's called "Summer BBQ Beans" that uses molasses instead of maple syrup. Hubby loves it so I'm fixing to make more this month. Yummy!
@@TheKneadyHomesteader I don't sing while laundrying a machine sings hmm that might make it less, oh laundry. Actually, the rhythmic sound of the machine puts me right to sleep.
Wow! Great Video! Thank you for all you put into these so we can become inspired and then know how we can do it too! I continue to pray for you and your family. May God bless you all.
This was a blast to watch and your choice of tunes made it so. I just really enjoyed you attitude. I'm just getting back into canning, but this recipe looks like something I can do. Subbed!
Thank you for the recipe, i think the maple syrup is really going to make the beans sweet. My husband likes sweet. I really appreciate the way you take the time to explain everything. Thanks again
