@@edrrrk honestly I think Boneworks did have a better story than Alyx. Alyx was a pretty one note story with far less impressive puzzles. The way the story was portrayed was better, but I think Boneworks did have you question more. Plus Boneworks ironically plays a lot more like a Half Life game with fully physical objects where you can beat enemies with a rock and it quite literally has the gravity gun which Alyx did not.

You should play Pavlov VR. Pavlov VR is a multiplayer gun game, basically CSGO in VR. You have to reload your gun and shoot and aim. I would highly recommend it

if you like pavlov the next step is onward. so much more fun. more competitive, strategic, difficult. i barely play pavlov anymore. onward is just sooo good. with 3 other human players teaming up to hunt down enemies, using silenced weapons, night vision, teamwork. and the highest difficulty. one mistake and you are down. hope a teammate will or even can heal you. other than sim racing its the only vr game i keep going back to, week after week. and it firmly believe i always will.

@@ikaikak9203 yup, didn't remember to come back to it. Shame as he didn't even get through the tutorial. 3 months later he just moved on to Half Life Alyx. Shame because until Half Life it was the best VR game. I thought Walking Dead was pretty meh.
@Skylancer727 Yeah, but Half life Alyx has the story and the pretty environments. That’s about all it has that bone works doesn’t. And I agree I didn’t think walking dead was super cool, but when you think about it a full scale free roam zombie game is pretty revolutionary in vr.

Hey Jack, I don't know if you have already, but you should play Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Hand grenades. It's a really good VR gun game. Good multi-player VR games are Pavlov VR and onward. Pavlov is more counter strike, and Onward is a bit more like battlefield to some extent.

H3 is more of a virtual gun range than a shooter game! but i must say that i've spent close to 60 hours in, so it's deff worth it!

Jack ammo is the currency in that world and it is used to buy weapons from the vending machine things, so try to collect as much ammo as possible. There is ammo in the crates with yellow and orange squares on them.
This kinda reminds me of metro games financial system
this is the exact reason I grabbed all of the ammo on the shooting range and took it with me

If you gonna play on the Index next time. You Can go slowmotion on the Index by pressing the A Button on the left controller. You Can Press it 1-3 times, hold Down to keep slowmotion and release to stop slowmotion. And we Watch from your left eye btw. Also you Can hit the mag Out with another mag in hand and you Can hit the mp5 pull back with Down when you are out of ammo. Also best vr multiplayer shooting game in my opinion is pavlov vr, try it! Im done here now.

Honestly this is a type of game you get stuck in like a dream, its erie but amazing at the same time.
i had a dream where my step dad killed my brother, andi ended up killing him. but i found out it was just boneworks cuz the secondi turned around to see my mothers face the "screen" of my dream turned to the boneworks menu that shows between worlds showed up.

You should play with the Valve Index instead of the Rift S and you should try Pavlov VR. It’s a multiplayer vr shooter where you can play games like ttt or prison break or even a battle royal in vr with a very wide selection of guns and even the realistic reload you like. Yo, Sean, I know I'm late to this video but Onward is a GREAT VR military game. You can even play on Nuketown as a custom map. It's pretty much what you described. I don't even like most FPS games but playing Onward is so much different.

Jack I recommend that you play Pavlov Vr or Blade & Sorcery, Blade & Sorcery is similar to Gorn but it's realistic and has better ragdolls and Pavlov is multiplayer but with guns and you can shoot anyone you want.

I love that both Jack and Mark made a single video on Boneworks, got through MAYBE 5% of the game, and never played it again
I like that this game is physics based, and the story was good, but not perfect. This game is kinda spoiling me because of being able to interact with basically anything, and switching back to regular games will be a challenge for sure. I just wish the storyline was longer. It's still a very good game but I'll never get as many hours in this game as in Pavlov VR, which is my favorite VR game by far. Can't get enough of the custom games like TTT and jailbreak. There are weeks where I litteraly play it non-stop.

Rather not Say I have a setup that barely doesn’t work for bone works, and it’s actually relatively cheap for VR gaming (>1000), ~600$ laptop and oculus rift C1
This is basically a tech test. It's not meant to be a huge game, it's meant to use all the tech available for vr at this time within reason.
@@rathernotsay4265 I don't consider myself as being rich (money wise). I just acquired all my hardware over a course of 4-5 years. I got a job and worked for my money. I don't own the most high-end tech or shit like that.
My PC only has an i7 6700k with a GTX 1070 and 24GB of RAM. Maybe my laptop is a bit high-end (i7 8750h with a RTX 2060) but it's for uni. I got the Oculus Rift for about 400 euros 2 years ago. It's relatively cheap compared to other alternatives.
My point is, especially when you still live with your parrents, you can easily get a VR setup going in no time, I guess you just gotta work for it. My parents don't buy me a new phone, a new PC, or other expensive shit. I just gotta get the money on my own somehow.

pavlov doesnt have as good mechanics, this is the best vr game on the market no doubt about it.

And on top of there being no base stations, that allows more freedom of movement as with base stations the controllers stop tracking if they're hidden by his body, like when he had turned away from the camera entirely.

i play onward, haven't had the chance to try pavlov yet mostly bc i cant get it on oculus quest 2 yet, but i do play a game called onward, its kinda the same thing but the reloading is different, and there is less guns from what ive seen in pavlov, but instead of infinite ammo, you get start with a certain amount, and with it doing that you have to be more strategic about how you shoot

I know this was 2 years ago, but at 15:30 if anyone sees this and is interested, there is a game called "Shack Pavlov" for vr that had exactly what he describes with different gamemodes like tdm, snd, and tts. With more but yeah.

There's a VR game with more realistic guns it's called hotdogs horseshoes and hand grenades it's pretty good and has been getting updated like twice a month with more guns and new mini games but for a multiplayer one try Pavlov it's basically csgo but in vr with multiple game modes
Boneworks uses physics in guns, in recoil and weight. It also has a storyline and a narrative. Boneworks also has collision and weight in every object, including the player. The player is a physics object

@@popefrancis9076 Trust me, it's way different than when he played it. The Dev for that game (Anton) was an early QA tester. He said that yes, his gunplay is more realistic, but Boneworks' is not simplified so it's more arcade like. Helps to keep the game flowing.

id recommend pavlov for more laid back players, ive played both for an ungodly amount of time and i feel like pavlov is for more casual players and onward is for more serious players, both games are great fun tbh but pavlov just has alot more polish to it aswell as a fuck ton of stuff to do

Jack, there is a game called population one that is a FPS battle royal that has a wide selection of guns to choose from. You have to reload them properly, aim and shoot. You were talking about wanting a multiplayer game that did these things in the video. Population One also just dropped an update that added knives, katanas, and much much more! You should check it out if you ever get the chance. I think you’d really enjoy it
