I don’t like to comment without trying the recipe first and I just made it for the first time. let me tell you why it’s the best cake.
- only needs 1 bowl for the cake resulting in less dirty bowls which is a problem I have with other tres leches recipes
- because eggs are beaten whole you save time and extra hassle but the result is very soft fluffy cake.
The only thing I did differently was to not add sugar to the Nutella frosting and reserve some of the soaking mix to top individual slice with.
Try it and you may never make another tres leches again
