Hey alex what about a tranny swapp?
Tremec T56 Magnum XL 6 Speed Transmission for Ford, TUKT12021
I love the channel and have been subscribed and watching for years, however, Alex, that respirator only filters the air coming in, not the air going out, if you were wearing it to protect Jason from your exhales, you, unfortunately, had only succeeded in demonstrating an exercise in futility. LMAO, I do realize it’s not a laughing matter, I’m sure he’ll be fine.
Jason is the man. seriously! What a nice guy, soft spoken, and knowledgeable AF! That's the kind of guys America needs a lot more of.
It's bot that there are less of these great smart talented Gentlemen in our midst. It's that the whining crying screeching mental cases get all the attention.
It's a Jason thing. Car guys coming together to make dream come alive. Reminds me of the car club days.
I agree. These kind of guys are the backbone of civilization. Probs to his mentor for passing on his knowledge and Jason for putting in the hard work and wanting to learn. I believe there are still a lot of people out here like this. Blue-collar workers just getting stuff done. I'm praying common sense will prevail again eventually. Last couple years everything just has gone downhill 🙄
Too bad, Jason is going to be sick. Your mask keeps YOU from inhaling contaminates. Jason should have worn the mask. Seriously, love what you do! Thank you!
How in the flying f’ck they can remember how 400 parts go back together in 15 different transmissions is insane
A big LEGIT thanks to Jason for flying in and wrenching with Alex.
What is wrenching?
@@BidenIsKing Holding and twisting tools. What word would you use to describe what Jason did to rebuild the transmission?
Hello from Mark Sr's other half! I can't thank you enough for making "the Marks" part of the video! When Mark came home last weekend and told me the story of "a guy shooting videos needed a part" I was interested to see where it was going.
Jr is a HUGE fan and watches you ALL THE TIME. He's kicking himself that he didn't stay to meet you and give you the part, but Sr didn't give enough back story.
So glad everything worked out and THANK YOU for the $ and the goodies, not necessary but appreciated and an unforgettable moment.
Jason is a SOLID dude and knows his stuff, when I watched with Sr who has been building transmissions for almost 40 years he echoed everything Jason had to say. Would love to see more of him.
I personally am super invested in where the Cobra goes from here. I have a 12 Boss 302 myself and just started getting into HP Tuning...
Hope you are feeling better!
Thanks again for the shout outs. Jr actually has landed a couple jobs because of you :)
Happy to be part of the community and will enjoy being new subscribers!!!!!
What a lovely family 😊
JASON IS THE TRUE MVP . He gave his weekend out to help you out alex . What a great community youve built
We need more of Jason.... maybe suprise him and his family or something....such a nice guy!!
So much this!
Give Jason the car when your Done with it.....
you guys think he came through for free? im confused at this train of thought
I'm in, more Jason. What a guy, I love the people Alex brings out of the woodwork. Cool community, for sure.
You should seriously try to do something nice for his family-what a great guy!
Jason seems like such a nice guy, glad people like him still exist and hope you get to work with him again.
Jason is a beast!!!! For the past 2+ decades our public school system has pushed kids towards often useless college degrees and led them to believe that careers in trades were for failed students. Now here we are years later desperately short of people with skills and knowledge like Jason. Hopefully we will change our views/perception of those whom choose to "get dirty" for a living as they are needed now more than ever. Jason's story can hopefully provide inspiration for some of todays youth.
Great video guys! 👍👍👍
This! I got so tired of working with "smart educated" people. Couldn't change a light bulb if they tried.
Too true, my friend!
Hit the nail on the head...
Mate - you owe Jason a pile for that level of help. He seems like one of nature’s true gentlemen. What a great guy.
That's my buddy at Champions Transmission! Glad they hooked you guys up!! Great guys over there
I grew up with Saturday morning cartoons …. Now I look forward to Saturday Morning with LegitStreet Cars / Alex. Love it
Same comment every week?
Very original, maybe next time figure out a way to call Alex the Bob Ross of auto tech too, nobody's heard that one before either.
@@brad2233 So your comment about his commenting is as necessary as me commenting
Me too, coffee and LSC...
THIS
That dude who found that parts needs a huge shout out, huge solid! Thanks father son folks.
Jason seems like a genuinely decent man. Offers up his knowledge without being cocky. I bet he'd be a great teacher!
Damn, Jason is incredible, so much knowledge, well spoken, not camera shy and explained everything thoroughly. Hope to see him back!
Jason is AMAZING!!! What a great new friend!!
Jason. You are a great guy. Very kind and generous of you to help out. We all appreciate you man.
Absolute Champion !
jason is a bro, is good on camera and looks like he was enjoying helping you. Mark is a bro too.
Deffo need to have Jason back for more videos. Proper bloke !
Man, Jason is absolutely the coolest. He is a true car guy and a gentleman, personified.
Jason's awesome and so is Mark and his son at the transmission shop. So proud of car peeps taking care of each other!!
The guy and his son that got that part were awesome! Gotta love the car community.
Jason is a true professional and a kind soul. You can tell he helps anyone that needs it and is very knowledgeable. We have to appreciate techs like that.
Jason... It's awesome you are on the show. Amazing.... to have a pro that knows it's transmissions on the show. We all want to learn a little bit. At least we now know why we wanna pay for your services.
Jason is a gem what a wonderful man to come help you out!
Add another shout-out to Jason for his willingness, coupled with his amazing knowledge, to come all the way from NY to help Alex. Amazing!
this Trans guy is soo cool lets hope he has to come back for more Trans repairs in the future
Amen
Jason has a great personality and would be a good addition to any future videos you have regarding transmission rebuilds
Thank you Jason for helping Alex ❤
Jason is a true professional I would have zero problem bringing my car to him for repairs!!!
"I would try the one in Cicero, he's old school he keeps a lot of old stuff" - one of the most Chicagoland statements, ever
Jason and the Aamco guys saved the day!!!
Jason what a legend, clearly knows his stuff inside and out
Jason was the MAN for going above and beyond helping Alex, especially when he got sick. R&R the transmission by himself, definitely showed his true self.
Thank you, Jason, from Oregon.
Just want to say, amco transmissions and the guys that work there know what they are doing!! And the customer service is Spot on!
Transmission building is a science on another level!!
I think this is location specific. I had a bad experience where a single shop didn't seat the dip-stick tube after a rebuild causing a leak. I still have faith in other locations as I think this was a one off situation.
@@NickWilliams0161000% location specific! When it comes to "Service", it always is!
Transmission science is simply patients and paying attention! Something that eludes many folk!
They aren't all that complicated but they are tedious and there is zero room for error. They look intimidating until you actually dig in.
HOWEVER I like Alex's fix, just manual swap the world
Some do and some DON'T
@@commonsenseisdeadin2024 common sense is dead in 2024 youre right. people spell sense as since, their as there but more annoyingly sometimes the dumbest of the dumb online spell patience as patients.
is spelling common sense ?
Jason was a BOSS! What a great help to get this broken transmission rebuilt! Got some great fans out there, Alex!
What an awesome guy Jason is! Massive compliments to him, we definitely need to do something to thank him!
Jason What a rock star!! The world should be ran by car guys and gals. Imagine how good it would be!!
Nice, Jason is your new best friend as is the guy from the transmission shop who got you the part, kudos on the progression on this project.
Jason is an example of the American dream! Hard work and ambition. There is a pay off!
No one should eat a garbage plate before the bars are closed. Thumbs up to Jason for taking time to help out... random acts of kindness.
Watching Jason put that transmission back together was genuinely enjoyable to watch. Seeing a true expert do their job is totally underrated.
Alex alone gives me faith that humanity will never let machine win. IT ALL STARTS HERE, THE CARS WILL NEVER BEAT US!!
Exactly!
We need more people like Alex and Jason doing quality work
The CL AMG rises to the challenge
But The government will
@@user-bg7km4ij7f Exactly. Although the burgeoning failure of the government’s attempt to force EVs upon us is failing, thank god. Maybe this failure is a portent of better things to come!
We need a certain orange man to lead us out of the wilderness.
Probably one of your best videos yet. People don't understand the complexities of what it even took to shoot that video except all the different color t-shirts that you wore and probably a month and a half long production schedule to get this video out including flying people in from across the country, going to the daughter father dance, driving 45 minutes each way for that shaft and then getting sick and still making the video come out on a Saturday. Logistically that was probably one of your toughest videos to get done and released on a Saturday. Believe it or not that impressed me slightly more than the awesome content you were filming.
This video is a lesson in problem solving.
Man thanks for noticing all that. The production is something I don't ever talk about but you hit it on the head. Lots of moving parts and there are definitely easier ways to get it done but after talking with Jason on the phone I knew I needed him on the show to make the best video possible. It was worth the extra time and expenses to show everyone the professional transmission rebuilding trade.
@@LegitStreetCarsPlease bring him back on at some point when it’s convenient for him, he’s a wealth of knowledge
There's no words for how knowledgeable and professional Jason is he's the man! 💪🏾
Thumbs up for Jason. People like him are the reason why America runs. Not the politicians.
Jason is an absolute rock star! I can barely change a light bulb, but I love watching LSC videos. Thanks Alex.
Shout out Jason and Mark!
Jason is the man, WOW, I was really feeling for you getting part.....dam, awesome, If Jason was in my area, I would buy him a beer just for helping out. Such a great guy and big help.
Feel better Alex...
This automatic transmission is almost otherworldly to look at as the layers peel off. At first glance it was like wizardry, but thanks to how the parts were laid out on the table and with the help of enlisted mage Jason it all became quite a lot clearer. Shout-out to the retailer who got you that hardened shaft and in good time before Jason had to go back.
Jason is bad ass and a good addition to the show. I hope to see him again.
Jason needs to get paid for this video!
BIG UPS AND THANKS TO JASON, FROM REDLINE TRANSMISSIONS, FOR FLYING TO CHICAGO; DONATING HIS TIME & EXPERTISE, HELPING TROUBLESHOOT AND REPAIR THE COBRA'S TRANNY AND GET HER BACK ON THE ROAD! WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DUDE! THE CAR COMMUNITY IS FULL OF INCREDIBLE PEOPLE...👍🤜🤛👏
THE SMILE ON JASONS FACE WHEN YOU ARRIVED WITH THE NEW PART❤!! What a humble gentleman and a professional expert at his craft
Love that he flew out and was in the video!
Jason is the MVP here. 👍
Kudos to Jason, a trully nice and knowledgeable gent answering a call to help. He's a new star of the show! Alex give this man some appreciation!
"Jason's working on the starter bolts." Alex from the beginning of video: "It took forever to get the starter bolts out!!" 🤣🤣 Always nice when you have someone to help you in the shop.
Man, that whistling of the blower is music to my ears!!!
Mad props to jason. An automatic trans is definitely voodo as far as im concerned 🤣
AND the man can carry on a conversation while building a transmission. Whew. What an animal
There aren't enough Jason's in the world.
This proves there are truly great people still out there. Hats off to Jason!
Jason is one great guy! Very knowledgeable and very kind. Glad he helped. Hope you hooked him up!
That was so cool to bring a fan in to help out. What a great guy (Jason)!
Jason Thanks for helping Alex with the transmission. Your personality and knowledge is Outstanding. Hope we get to see you in future videos with Alex. Blessings to both of you and your families.❤❤
Alex, I just wanted to say thanks for recognizing Mark's contribution in your video. I'm one of the owners at AAMCO of Oak Park, and I'm really proud to see Mark following through on our commitment to serving the community. It seems like you aren't really the sort of person who would need our services for general repair and maintenance or transmission repair, but if you ever do, just give us a call! (Great videos, btw. I'm subscribing!)
No matter what it is from painting a portrait, cooking a meal, running a lathe, butchering a kill to building a Trans. Watching a true professional do what they do is a pleasure it's like watching art be created.
Loving Jason, he's a legend. What a guy to have around.
What a great guy! Perk of having super classy fans like Jason.
What a nice guy Jason is! This world needs more people like him.
All these people talking about Jason which he is an absolute G. But want to shout-out Mark from amco he came in so clutch! Need more people like them.
Jason for the save, what a dude!
“I’ll buy you a deep dish pizza”. 😂. I lived in Chicago for 10 years. Hope it’s a Lou Malnati’s!
WOW! Actual customer service! Doing EVERYTHING he can for his customer, the customer will remember this man doing all that he could for his customer! Man I wish this was the norm for all customer service reps. Huge giant SHOUT OUT to Aamco and Mark!
Also shout out from Olimpus Mon to JASON who stepped up and gave his weekend to help Alex. You ROCK Jason!
I think that Jason is just one of those people for whom everything mechanical just makes sense. For those people, all they need is a bit of guidance in the specifics, and then the rest is just obvious.
I hope Jason comes back as a recurring expert bro is cool as hell when he said "uh no" 😭
My buddy’s name is Tony and he owns a 03 mach 1 with the same 4.6 4v as your cobra. We’ve had the engine built 3 times now and it’s nonstop issues. The last 2 or 3 of your cobra videos happened to drop the same day we were doing major engine work but this one… you wrote his name on your flex plate so that has to be a good sign that his car is going to be running again very soon! Thanks Alex!
All the Mach 1's,96-98 cobra's,and the 99-01's had the same engine. The only difference between the 3 were the intake manifolds and the cylinder heads. There were minor differences in the 96-98 years which was just the material they used for the imrc plates.
the beauty of the internet is you build connections with whom that has the same passion and help each other out. but Jason flew out to help with the transmission is next level commitment and truly knowledgeable with his work
Jason what a guy!! as a master tech to hear someone so soft spoken and well spoken on there craft is amazing what a guy big congrats to you man !
Big win for having Jason come guy is a master
WHAT A STAND UP GUY YOUR AWSOME TRANMISSION GUY...😎
Double thumbs up for the daddy daughter dance. Just when i thought Alex/LSC couldn't be more wholesome.
Jason was awesome. Great work.
Great video, my man.
Car folk are great around the globe, always ready to help another car enthusiast, Jason seemed a legend as well, gear boxes are the dark arts.
Definitely bring Jason back!
Jason for the WIN!!
High 5 to C5 guy, too!!
Big thumbs up for Jason, its not a lot that Alex gets bowled out by something but man I love Jason's attitude so modest but great at his craft..... Anyway just love how Alex becomes a 5year old in a toy store at the end of the videos that works out like this one did lol. Awesome guys
wow this episode was a cliff hanger Jason the Yoda of transmission rebuilds helping Alex was an inspiration of how a community builds a better ride!
So generous for that guy to come help you with the transmission, my kind of hero.
What a nice guy Jason is - I hope we see more of him soon. Great episode... 🤓
Everyone working together and trying to help out a brother in need. Car guys are a brotherhood.
The whole daddy daughter dance segment was great! Love supporting people like you!
Thanks Jason!!!!
Thank you Jason! Alex, glad you got it fixed and showed us all the journey. Excellent!
This video proves there are still awesome humans out there willing to help out just because it’s the right thing to do. Jason was great and shout out to the transmission guy on the phone!
