I head this in a Ludwig short and identified it as Zelda music, asked my Zelda loving friend and here I've been for the past week or so. Probably 20 hours of this in that time.
Even with all the different renditions of this song I've heard over the years, something about this particular track that is so magical it can't be duplicated even with real instruments.
I cannot stress enough how as a kid who had no ability to access anything other than CDs or the radio, this was the coolest song on the OST. My cousins and I would often walk in and out of the desert, just to start it over and hear the clapping part again.
I don't know how to explain this feeling but every time that I hear this song after some time I just happily start crying. Definitely my favorite OST from the Zelda franchise.

@@tortugi1143 No it isn't remotely anything like that, that is just you being stupid and entitled enough to think you deserve it for free for no reason. They are fortunate enough that due to specifics of the law, the site itself is likely not going to be shut down as long as they take things down when the owner requests it. You know what I'm going to miss? The many beautiful, informative and funny comments from Gilva's videos at large. They really allowed us to appreciate these songs and the games they came from in new, developed ways. It did wonders on bringing so many of us together as this massive, global community remembering and sharing together our collective memories on these games. This disappointment seen so widely here in comments directed towards at Nintendo, only illustrates why these takedowns only end up harming the bond between the company and its fanbase. With these fond memories and connections becoming lost to fans as we're dealing with Nintendo's scrooge-like practices of extreme copyright control that end up destroying these gathering places of appreciation to their works even today... it's tearing me deep.
Nothing lasts forever, mate. Even on the internet. And ESPECIALLY on UA-cam. This place is absolutely broken beyond measure- these channels may have even crumbled any day without Nintendo's involvement for some algorithm malfunction.

Is it normal that my favourite past time in this game is jumping into the river in gerudo valley and letting the current carry me all the way to lake hylia?
Was breaking this down and figured I’d share my notes in case anybody’s interested. 0:00 short, unrelated introduction figure + lone percussion (roughly 3-ish bars). It does establish the tone and percussive elements. 0:06 actual start. (4 bars.) This section repeats non-stop for the rest of time. (Albeit slightly quieter.) High-pitched percussive elements that repeat each bar, repeated note strummed constantly in a 4-bar pattern, and a lower-pitched harmonic foundation (pedal tones?) in a 4-bar pattern. (The above 2 timestamps are only used once in this exact form. Therefore, they don’t really constitute most of the structure of the song.) 0:14 Primary Motif (4 bars, repeated once with greater intensity. 8 bars total.) Roughly follows the lower-pitched harmonic foundation. 0:30 Primary Motif’s offshoot (4 bars, follows the PreVaReDe melodic structure. These 4 bars are then treated as one motif and again subjected to the PreVaReDe* structure in megature, resulting in a call-and-response structure. The last 4 bars are basically their own thing to round it out, as per the PreVaReDe. 16 bars long in total. 1:00 Secondary Motif (4 bars, slower than the Primary Motif. Also repeats once with greater intensity.) 1:18 Secondary Motif’s offshoot/transition to loop (4 bars long. Very simple rhythmically-driven melody ostinato thing that sort of acts as a countermelody to the lower-pitched harmonic foundation. This replaces 0:06 in the loop, transitioning to 0:14 forever this point on then on.) 1:26 looping back to 0:14. The rest of the video is just looping back to the point established at 0:14 until 1:18’s part comes again, ad infinitum. All in all, ignoring the introduction and looping, the song is roughly one minute and 10 seconds long, or 70 seconds. The primary motif starts about 1/10 of the way through. The first offshoot at about 1/3. The secondary motif at about 2/3. The second offshoot at about 9/10, to complement the primary motif. *Presentation, Variation, Repetition, Destruction. Credit to Evenant for this formula, or at least that’s the first place I learned about it.

What makes the Gerudo Town amazing in this game is that feels very realistic how people reacts to a stranger arriving (Link) there's no other town in this game that have the same reaction when Link visit some places (Hyrule Castle doesn't count) they attack you and you need to be stealthy to complete a mission before having the Gerudo citizen card, if you don't knock out the guards they'll lock you and they will attack.

I remember the comments in the Kakarito theme, all was nostalgia, good memories. People sharing their experiences.

You're a legend
Before that there was Silva Gunner, youtube is a cruel world.
Therefore, they don’t really constitute most of the structure of the song.)
0:14 Primary Motif (4 bars, repeated once with greater intensity.
Also repeats once with greater intensity.)
1:18 Secondary Motif’s offshoot/transition to loop (4 bars long. Very simple rhythmically-driven melody ostinato thing that sort of acts as a countermelody to the lower-pitched harmonic foundation. This replaces 0:06 in the loop, transitioning to 0:14 forever this point on then on.)
1:26 looping back to 0:14.
The secondary motif is beautiful

This song and all the songs of Ocarina of Time fill me with bliss these days whenever I hear them. On my behalf, please do something on your part for Ocarina of Time's 25th anniversary and if you do so, remember that you are paying a tribute, however small, to the highest-ranking video game of all time, saluting the many hours of work put into it by every member of its development team, respecting the very high cost behind it given by Nintendo to make people happier in the richest and most fulfilling manner possible at that time and commemorating the childhoods of 7.06 million people.
