It would work! That said this chair gets 'regular' home use. I couldn't say how long the finish would last on a high traffic salon chair. I've painted a few chairs and they've all held up amazing tho.
Thanks. Would have liked more information about the products types. Maybe different brand names and which types to used on which projects and price. Drying time etc. More than the demonstration which is fine but it is a little watching paint.
What are your thought on painting from a darker vinyl into a lighter one? Something like from black to brick red. I'm trying to detail a set of seats but I worry the black vinyl would affect the color of the red I'm trying to use.
Thanks for this video. I'm looking to repaint my motorcycle seat into a tan color. Would acrylic or latex spray paint work? Or any alternative type of paint?
Thanks so much. I did this technique with vinyl barrel chairs. The only thing is the pain wore off around the back part of the cushion seat where people sit. Any suggestions why or how to resolve? Thanks so much.
Have some ugly office chairs we are looking to redo cheaply and look good. This looks like the ticket!
Have fun! This chair is still holding up great!
Would this work on salon shampoo chairs that get a lot of use

Who would have thought!
Hello. For severe peeling or most of the seat of chair peeling, how would I prep the surface before painting?
I have the same question, will continue to search for the answer.
I just painted my chairs black using cha;k paint however, the paint is tacky/sticky. Do you know how to help with this?
Is it possible it's not 100% dry/cured yet... or possibly high humidity ??
Hi I want to paint a vinyl ‘texterline’ fabric on a garden glider seat. It’s solid, not mesh. Would chalk paint work ? Am in the UK

I've only used chalk paints but I believe craft stores sell a waterbased alternative specifically for painting vinyl.
What about latex acrylic paint !like chalkboard paint?
Are you able to clean this afterwards with Clorox wipes? Without it being damaged?
Once it's 100% cured, yes!
❤wow so easy. Ty I love this.
thank you!
Can you use acrylic paint
WHAT TYPE OF PAINT ARE YOU USING - ACRYLIC , LATEX OR CHALK?
It's a chalk mineral paint

Did you topcoat/protect them with anything? If the wax had worn off, I would just repaint and topcoat the back.
@@SalvagedInspirations thank you. I think you are right. I just a white wax. Think I need a protectant.
❤👍💞
