- Here is my take on the Kotori Audio Vampire. They are made by a boutique in ear monitor company based in Singapore and they use one Knowles Balanced Armature per side.

Cable hardware looks like 7/16" nuts. I like it
Nice cable 👍
Single BA seem to be an interesting breed. Awesome review!
Thanks very much and they indeed quite different.
Goth's in Whitby would snap these up👍
Not just in Whitby :D
I'd love to try a single BA IEM, but in an even smaller form factor, to take advantage of the small driver size. Something like the old Apple ADDIEM.
Never heard of that model and I have tried three single BA models up to this point.
NiceHCK x49 is a single BA in a small cylindrical shell (like Final E-series.)
@@CanizaM Been a while since I heard of that model.
You got yourself a new mic?
I was just ill, lol
@@VortexReviews1 Well I didn't want to say, in case you had a new mic ;)
@@RichardDowd No worries pal and I am slowly getting better.
They kinda messed up here, if i named the iems "audio vampire " I would have tuned them....warm...dark...V shaped ( V for vampire ) and made it a 2+1 as a single BA can never compete with a single DD in the bass department, allthough i think BAs handling the mids and treble is a good idea due to them having that planar like speed which helps with complex tracks
Vampire would have been a good name for a different tuning indeed.
@@VortexReviews1 i think its a cheaper aful magic one which isnt a bad thing, on another note i highly recomend the shanling M6 ultra for techno trance music, the BQEYZ wind just sounds sublime when combined with the M6 Ultra
@@dave91863 Cheers for the suggestions.
@@VortexReviews1 no ones got a collection like mine when it comes to uk techno trance jungle hardcore, all the early 90s music all ripped on high end tape decks, spend a huge amount of money in 8 years me and friend from london, best part of £30k no problem
@@dave91863 Big respect!
graph kinda reminds me of penon fan2.
Never tried that model or any Penon model.
I don't see why they used a single ba over a single dd. They probably got a good deal on them, lol
Ikr. Why not just use the standard single dd, dd+ba hybrids, dd+ba+est tribrids and pretend interesting configurations never existed. Who cares if they sound interesting... 🤦
Your voice sound different
I was sick when I filmed this.
**One Knowles BA per side**
**Graphs like manufacturer's datasheet full range BA**
Yep, it's 1BA
Indeed lol
