I have this amp, and while you certainly make the factory presets sound good (or are those your own (?) either or, they sound nice!) the best tones are the ones that you're going to craft yourself and let me tell you, they are in there (!) I like smooth, warm, buttery distortion tones, with lots of low mids, a Twin Reverb for a nice big, fat cleans, and a 61 Deluxe for a nice, sweet edge of breakup/moderately distorted preset, all easily attainable for me with the GTX (!) Also just to mention, the "Blues Junior" amp model is EXCELLENT!
Plus the on-amp LCD screen on the Mustang shows you exactly what you're doing, it's all right there. You got to plug the Katana into your laptop, phone, tablet or whatever to see what you're doing, whether it's dialing up, dialing in, editing or whatever.
05/29/2020: I love your videos. One question. Does the GTX have a simulated tube tone for this Fender solid-state amp, like the Fender Tone Master has simulated good tube tones?
You can turn it down to a whisper and retain the sound. If you have good headphones you can plug in and get same sounds that come out speaker. Either way you won't disturb neighbors.
To be honest I nearly missed out on this amp because the youtubers don't know how to use the amp well. There are 200 fender presets and 100+ fan made ones which sound the best, not to mention you can change the sound in many different ways (and the amp it's trying to resemble). The ones in the video were awful.

Just got the GTX50. The presets seem.... kinda extreme. Too heavy on the Dirty.

There are a couple on the amp for Van Halen. One is called Early Eddie the other uses Van Halen in the title. Will research and get back to you.
