    The MTW wire is a pleasure to wire panels with. Converted 9 Grieve truck ovens from bang bang contactors to plc proportional control years ago. Very satisfying work.

    It's easy when you have a proper service cabinet with all the lacing fixings.
    Experts challenge I just did. A quad 4x4 box. 3 receptacles and a 3 way switch. Box was also a junction feeding three downstream conduits plus the lighting traveler, all wired with 12 gauge. Took me a solid half hour to stuff it so I didn't have to cram the faceplate on.

    Well,did you measure the contact pressure of the wires??You always have to do that to make sure the contacts are good!So in the future the contacts will not come lose..Further you dont measure the length off the wires,you just cut it off on one end and the other end.Wasting a lot off expensive wire!

    • @IET-76
      @IET-76  10 місяців тому +6

      Hello my friend
      You are right
      Wires are expensive
      But measuring them is very time-consuming and increases the cost of wiring. This saves time and the costs are also different because we use the cut wires elsewhere and it is not wasted

    • @TlD-dg6ug

      Nobody measures wire ahead of time 😂

    • @jooproos6559
      @jooproos6559 10 місяців тому

      @@IET-76It doesn't have to be time consuming!Just connect it to one thing and lay it out to the other thing,and then cut it off long enough.Do not connect.Then al the others this way and then measure the real length and cut it off and connect.So then when you connect you only cut the wire there to the length.That means that you only waist on one site the length off the wire and not two times!!Easy!!☺☺

    • @IET-76
      @IET-76  11 місяців тому

      When the selector switch is in position 1, the power enters the rccb switch from the red terminals, if it is in position 2, the power enters the rccb switch from the gray terminals.

    • @IET-76
      @IET-76  Рік тому +3

      Hello. According to my experience, the distance between the ducts in the case where the miniature switches are installed inside should be 13 cm. The distance between the ducts in the case where the contactor and current controller are installed under them should be 18 cm. also. The distance between the duct and the end of the rail in the lowest row should be 6.5 cm. Please ask if you have any other questions.

    • @xxhellspawnedxx
      @xxhellspawnedxx 3 місяці тому

      Brown, not red, but yes, that's usually the case, in domestic and commercial wiring. This, however, is an industrial panel, and in my experience you most often see the wiring inside panels like this being black for phases; But really, any color wiring except green/yellow is permissible in most regulations, and blue is only inadvisable but not outright banned.

    Striping wires in minimum & proper length , securing connection by tightening the screws with their specified tool, Colors scheme in wires help in easy identification for connections. Central Bar rail which allow each wire pass through desperately & accommodate it's bit extra length that might be its farther use is very nice.
    However ,Labelling them all individual components in Panel would surely helpful and good in education point of view. It would further improved by verbally describing the function and purpose of each component in single line.
    Using proper tools for the purpose ensure the life and longitivity.

      That’s an interesting comment. Why is the panel too small, there is ample space for the small amount of heat generated as it only appears to be a 30 amp supply at most 40. The last comment about insulating and covering is even more so, it’s all what we would term fingerproof ( ipx2 I think it is) having watched a lot of electrical videos from your country I am horrified by the amount of exposed copper. I am not having a go, just curious for an explanation

      Thank you for your opinion. It was very helpful. But I must say that in this area the conditions are such that you have to draw the electrical panel in this way. Good luck.

      The electrical codes are very different from country to another country.And i find the codes in the USA very bad compared with the code in Europe.
