I am amazed at your project, especially the cable management! You've managed to build an incredibly useful panel. As a Computer Science student I can't help but think about the software integration behind all of this, and the cool stuff you can (and already do) with IoT
I made my first home IoT panel last year myself after watching your videos with various components and some modded IoT products and I'm very proud of it!
good job, just watched one of your videos from 2 years ago and then watched this one and the wiring techniques you are using now have improved massively. well done.
As a former automation student, this is quite fun to watch. Sadly, my country don't focus on this kind of expertise and I am forced to take Civil Engr., I hope I can apply it on my project. Automated house in future. 😊 tnx for video

I was going to say the same, every switch, light, plug etc etc would have to have its own individual cable pulled. Far as i am concerned this is an over-complicated system that can be achieved much easier with HomeAssistant,
@@spreadItWide lol, will you go pull all that cable for free. 😂 I'm happy with my HA and have lots of fun with it. I don't deny it looks cool but it's not practical and I'm a practical elec engineer and coder.
@@travismailsa1 lol, oh it's far from practical! But it would be fun! I'm building a wireless version of this for my house (house is only 10 years old, nothing is "smart"). But I'm building all the hardware and software from scratch so instead of redistributing the power, I leave it as is and just monitor/interact with IoT over my network with WebRTC and a MQTT server on a node app (for now). Not sure why I felt the need to update you on my project, but there it is lol. I'm open to suggestions if you feel like it (my end goal is no 3rd party integrations, and I only want to be able to connect to my custom built IoT devices).
Que montagem louca. Queria muito ter algo assim no meu Motorhome e em casa, nem precisa da automatização, mas da organização. Até etiqueta e impressora tem ai, que coisa!

Ah, I remember my home automation days. Things hooked up all over the house. Eventually I got tired of being a full time system administrator at home and ripped it all out. Your workmanship is absolutely top notch, though.
As an experienced PLC enthusiast; I can honestly say that you take pride in your work! Very good qualities to have, great work!
