- Decided to upload this; All of the cutscenes of Sonic Chronicles in the highest available quality. There's only one other video, which has a really nasty PowerDirector watermark, and isn't cut together too nicely, so I figured that I could do better. Hope you all enjoy!

Exclusively for the Nintendo DS, Sonic Chronicles mixes a rich story, hand-painted visuals, fast-paced team combat, and wireless collectible trading into a uniquely compelling adventure. Rhythmically tapping and dragging with the stylus in Sonic-style battles, players can level up and use Rings to buy new special attacks as they progress through 20 different and beautifully hand-drawn areas including new and classic Sonic locales. With an engaging storyline, lightning fast attacks, high production values, and impeccable visuals, Sonic Chronicles allows gamers to experience Sonic in a whole new way. Online Trading and Collecting: Collect several types of artificial Chao lifeforms, each with varying power-ups and abilities that help in combat and elsewhere. Players can exchange their Chao with friends via local wireless play. New Party System Gameplay: Sonic Chronicles introduces the “party system” for diverse team tactics using each of the 11 playable character’s unique and customizable skills and powers.

I like the idea behind the cutscenes looking like comic book panels... but the “animation” and sound design really makes them look like 2005 newgrounds animations
sound design is wack but the animation. i cant see a better way to animate comic panels

This was first Sonic game. I loved this very much, especially since this was a Christmas gift to me.
Man that was one of my favourite games as a kid. I remember hoping that they'd do a sequel to it someday but that hope has been extinguished
Well they might do it in a year or 2, but even if they don't, we know for sure that Sonic and his friends will always beat Eggman. Seriously He beats him all the time! 😂🤣😂🤣
It is impossible for Sega to make a sequel thanks to the Ken Penders Lawsuit

Chronicles had such a great potential, its atmosphere, its universe, its ideas were so good... Like Rush and Storybook games, this kind of game were special and nothing can confirm it comes back one day, even with Frontiers' influence.

This game had so much potential a rpg game with sonic and friends as protagonists and expanding sonic's universe sounds great but those attempts were left aside

It's kind of sad it ended with a cliffhanger and decided not to make another one because of EA
I love the style of this cutscenes, only that they need a better font and maybe less flash-like animation.

no, the ending is like "we're back to the normal days of fighting with Eggman all the time" they didn't die. Just because he's shooting their spaceship doesn't mean they died, it means the fight with Eggman starts again, and it gives space for a sequel.
That's all, there's really no dark ending, they're just back to the normal fighting days.
Argus would've been the main antagonist in the sequel. He was hinted towards the end and its appearance was kind of shown when picking up the nocturne in the cutscene with the giant red tentacles
i think its shocking that BioWare made this game

We dont see games or intros like this these days, most of the games we has are crap and too family friendly and too easy, I want a challenging games but still be fun as it was before
I'm not sure why you'd upload this in HD considering that would likely just stretch the pixels and cause pixelation but you managed to maintain good picture quality after all.
Tbh I can see why not many would pick this game I mean its Sonics first time being an RPG game it would only get some peoples attention but I think this is a good idea I mean sure the cutscenes don't look the best but imagine if a 2nd game was made and the cutscenes got better as well as new elements getting added to the combat but with port versions for all consoles so it would expand the game overall
