Did you not need to replace the timing chain? I need to change my pump but I don’t know if that needs replacement as well..

I apologize for the late response. I found this on google.
“Timing chains do not require routine replacement and should last the life of the vehicle.”

When doing my I stripped one of the 10mm threads on the block… Will a tap and die work or should I try something else?

That depends on which bolt it is. If it’s an outer bolt, you may be able to use some gasket maker around the area and make sure the other bolts are torqued to spec.

How did you hold the pulley still when you loosened the bolts

there is a trick where you can put the appropriate size wrench on the bolt on the pulley (enclosed side). Face the wrench upward, toward the sky and tap it a few times with a hammer/mallet.

How come the pulley tightens crooked when putting it all together again?? The three bolts are fine but as the get tighter it rubs against the watere pump.. how do I handle this situation?

I haven’t personally heard of this issue but try to alternate tightening the bolts in an circular fashion and see if that helps. Let me know the results!
