    I just came across your vlog, and it is one of the most informative that I have seen. I belong to the dreaded Dental profession, going on 38 years, and during that time, I have seen a lot. Not just in the practise of Dentistry, but also in the attitudes of people towards their health and Dental health. In its purest sense, we should be healers of the mouth and the body because the mouth truly demonstrates what is happening in the body, as you have seen, and many others from the comments I've read, from dietary effects and stress. We see the effects of the multitude of medications that people take for various ailments, many of which could be treated with the diet. Few listen as it's easier to pop the pill. We spend more time with our patients than the average doctor, and thus know more about them, their lifestyle and other factors, and can and should address the patient holistically. On the other hand, we walk a fine line between balancing costs of business, accepted "treatment", and insurance companies, who, without seeing or speaking to the patient will deny treatment. We have to fight the "IF my insurance won't cover it, I don't want it" system which has been carefully cultivated by certain interests. I am seeing more adults who have never had a cavity or gum problem: no fancy diet. I am also seeing young people with smaller jaws, into which their adult teeth cannot erupt fully. People emigrating to this country from India and Africa especially, who have all 32 teeth, worn, and are seeing the first cavities ever. Our sugar loaded diet. I think we have just scratched the surface of the "Nutrition connection" and a lot more research is needed. I have noticed that my patients who have gum disease also have Diabetes in their genetic line already, and can become diabetics later. Something tips them over. Blood sugar is important. Dementia is now called Type 3 Diabetes. We have been drinking Vit D and Calcium fortified milk for years, yet everyone is deficient. Does this affect osteoporosis? Our lives are supposedly easier yet I see more people who are depressed, fearful or anxious, Big pharm just keeps those prescriptions going: some don't even remember how long they have been taking them as they are just renewed automatically. Stress and electronics are also having an increasingly negative effect. Too much sitting affects the neck and jaws: big increase since the lockdown. Some people handle their stress by grinding their teeth away. The incidence of anti-anxiety meds, which also affect the mouth and the use of weed, especially among young people is bothering. Too much, too available and you don't really know what's in it. A friend of mine sold his interest in a marijuana company after noticing precancerous changes in the mouths of some of his patients who were active smokers. I think a lot of people are canaries in the coal mine regarding diet and health and we have to listen to our bodies and change, although these other interests make it hard to do so. Keep on with what you are doing as your information is another piece to the puzzle of our health and well-being.

    As I've gotten older (I'm in my mid 40's now), I've found that adding collagen to my diet has helped a lot with joint health and recovery after injuries. Pre-collagen supplements, I'd often have sore shoulders after working. Now my body feels a lot better. I noticed the same but have come to the conclusion that using organic sulfur (MSM), camu camu / vitamin C and nac n acetylcysteine to boost the bodies natural production of collagen is better. After a long enough time of collagen supplementation, you could find you have more than you need and that may cause the opposite of the benefits due to the excess. Very unlikely though. You'd have to supplement with over 39+ grams a day for many years to get anywhere near that level. But it will vary from person to person.

I found now is my later years Age 50 I am just having issues with my teeth and gums. I am sure there is a deficiency of several vitaminas and mineral lacking in my diet. I notice when I have bleeding gums and I increase my intake of natural vitamin C which is usually lemon juice. a n my diet my problem goes away. And if I am experiencing sensitivity in my teeth’s or molars I clean well the area with baking soda by brushing and implement adding a little more lemon in my water. I did not grow up eating berries rather I came from a tropical country where I consume lots of mangos, papaya, oranges, from time to time had pasión fruit banana, sour sap, june plum, Quenepa, guava, sugar cane. I believe there is something wrong now with how meats, vegetables and fruits are produce today they have bio engendered how these products are produce which is causing a lot of the health issues many are facing.

While I recommend many foods in their raw form for their benefits (such as raw leafy greens), almost all seeds (with the exception of flax seeds) are better cooked in some way to reduce phytic acid, lectins, and other problematic substances.

    As a long term vegetarian, vegan and raw vegan (I eat intuitively) for 45 years the one thing I have learned (after seeing David Wolfe in London 2009) was grow your own fruit, vegetables, salad greens, sprouts etc in Scottish (or anywhere) volcanic rock dust and compost. The plants absorb 84+ minerals and monatomic elements from the soil, you can't ingest rock dust. Also grow food in an energy field like scalar or orgone - everything is frequency and light. Everything works in synergy. Read Minerals for the Genetic Code by Charles Walters. Decalcify the Pineal gland - the master computer if it's calcified you can't connect to different frequencies - it's your spiritual antenna. Fluoride is used to dumb people down. When pineal gland is cleared you virtually live on light and love, glow with health and electrical energy cascades down from crown chakra. We are spiritual beings in a physical body working through karma lol. It's like minerals are the building blocks for your computer code - DNA - if some are missing it's not going to work then will malfunction.

    Once you are an adult, your diet doesn't really have as much effect on remineralizing your teeth, aside from avoiding sugary foods, acidic soft drinks, and moderating highly acidic fruit intake. Adult teeth are formed in childhood, and it is here that diet plays a significant role on future tooth health.
    If you want to remineralize your teeth, use a low abrasivity toothpaste that contains calcium phosphates. Hydroxyapatite is one of the most studied forms of calcium phosphate, and was used by NASA experimentally to treat astronauts suffering from demineralization of their teeth due to prolonged low gravity exposure. However, other calcium phosphates are found in many other fluoride-free toothpastes, and most have some evidence for effectiveness remineralizing teeth.

    Great info. You may want to look into how blood type secretor status affects oral health. A non-secretor has no ABO antigens in any bodily fluids. Those antigens in saliva are protective of your teeth. Raederle, you may be a non-secretor, which also has risks for inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Peter d'Adamo has a lot to say about it. The non-secretor is maybe 15% of the population, and is considered the throwback.

I'm on a vegan diet, and it's a real difficulty to find 'safe' foods that don't have some issues involved. Your books look to hold some answers and I'll be looking into that very soon! Thank you for all your hard research to find out what's best to eat and the right proportions. I wish to stay vegan, and thankfully I've not had so much reactions to food, but it seems more people are getting this with industrial processes. I shall be having a go at adopting some of your recipes. Thank you so much for offering your knowledge. Heather 🙂

      Take a long hard look at the carnivore diet and what people are saying about teeth, joints, skin conditions and lots of other things and ask yourself how on earth people can do this for forty years or more and not be vitamin deficient or lacking other dietary things like minerals etc. You will begin to wonder if what science says is true and what our diet really should be. Also plants and seeds are not food they are plants and seeds and DO NOT WANT TO BE EATEN ANY MORE THAN ANIMALS but they have an advantage in the soils chemistry to take up undesirable chemicals to make themselves either unpalatable or poisonous, lettuce and cucumber does not grow to provide you with salad you cannot live without taking something elses life veganism is just specieism I choose veggies instead of meat, as far as I know the only plant that has chosen to be eaten as a life choice is grass it seems to sacrifice its leaves for the manure to sustain itself it has reached a bargain with animals. As for your teeth try flouride free toothpaste or even better make your own either way ADD XYLITOL it has amazing results.

    I lived in Ithaca for some time. Brings back memories. Very nice presentation and experience. I am on an all-veggie + Beans + lentils diet (Almost no fruits). My experience is raw I go even with veggies, more teeth sensitivity I get. Less I cook the veggies more the teeth sensitivity. I guess each body responds differently?
    Btw, I do recommend looking Ayurveda system of classification (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) for choosing which nuts, beans, veggies that work for your body. This is where I have gotten maximum results. Cheers.
    PS: Grinding or clenching teeth can also make them sensitive.

    • @RaederlePhoenix
      @RaederlePhoenix  2 роки тому +4

      Thank you for your thoughts. ✨🦚💕🙏
      I'm 99% vata and 1% pitta. I consulted with an Ayurvedic practitioner early in 2020 and tried an Ayurvedic diet for three months that was tailored to me. It didn't work for my digestive system which isn't at all surprising.
      I was born without appropriate flora and still seem to be missing some critical microbes. I've found a lot of work-arounds (raw veganism worked well for me, and the plant paradox diet served me well for years, and now my own modified version of GAPS is working well for me), but I'm going to need to find a more direct way to introduce the missing microbes. (I'm thinking fecal implants, but since that is gross and will have to be self-administered since there is no where I can go to have that done, I'm going to start with kefir enemas and see how that goes.)
      A lot of vegetables are not best raw, particularly for certain doshas or existing conditions. The important raw vegetable is soft, mild leafy greens. Lettuce with a little spinach and baby kale is a great salad mix, for example. Plenty of romaine, red leaf, oak leaf, and iceberg lettuce. People mistake lettuce for being empty, but it is one of the most perfectly balanced foods around.
      A lot of food is irritating to certain conditions even if it does not cause the condition and can actually help the underlying issue. For example, oranges are a nightmare on a cankersore, but oranges don't cause them and they don't make the underlying condition worse. Yet take something like sunflower seed butter and it feels okay on the cankersore yet usually makes it worse through its impact on the digestive system and through being high omega-6. (A long time ago I tried eating no fruit and a raw vegan diet of nuts, seeds, and veggies to get rid of a cankersore. The nuts and seeds made up 95% of my calories even if they were only half the volume or less. I ended up with a whole mouth fulll of cankersores. Terrible idea.)
      The grinding/clenching thing you mention is something I have not given much thought to since it isn't something myself or my clients have struggled with, but I do have a friend with that issue. Perhaps it is something I should learn a bit more about.
      I'm glad Ayurvedic classifications have helped you! I have mentally referenced them often, but I have not found them as helpful in my practice as I would have hoped.
      Thank you for sharing and starting a conversation. 🦋🦚✨🙏

      Vegetables have components that are foreign to the human body, phytates, lectins, oxalis, etc., and they can bind to minerals in your diet, making those minerals unavailable to heal your body, (along with other symptom causing problems. his includes minerals needed for dental health.) Cooking deactivates some of those but not all of them. You might consider using vegetables and fruits that are low in these substances, and cooking them thoroughly, if you must continue aw a vegan or vegetarian. Switching to an animal-based diet, excluding the offending mineral sucking plant world, has helped a lot of people with their teeth. Animal food diets have been known to reverse anxiety and depression as well. So keeping your stress permanently lowered a few notches might be as simple as changing your diet... making it easier to deal with life‘s inevitable stressors. There are people who have eaten mostly meat and water and a few other animal foods for 20, 40, 65 years. Thriving. And for those who are concerned about animal life, shopping with your local organic grass fed/grass finished type rancher instead of in your grocery store produce section can help save the millions of animal lives lost in modern mechanized agriculture. And the cows are restoring the land with their manure on these independent farms instead of feedlot style or pen feeding of animals that creates a lot of manure sludge in one place that has been blamed for E. coli or salmonella in produce grown further down the hill from these places. mob grazing is a specific technique that can restore the land in an incredibly sustainable way. Using specific sequences of animals grazing through the same land in rotation is an excellent way to both add variety to the nutrition of the soil while each subsequent animal does its own particularly unique beneficial thing to clean up whatever might be a problem from the previous animal.… Like loving/eating the kind of bug or parasite that might be common that precedes them.

    I had done a lot of research on growing your own food, gardening and poultry basics. In doing so I noticed how really bad the agriculture systems are. For example, they fluff up a ton of Sh-- ... stuff in the poultry feeds and other animal feeds to add volume to save money. Cellulose basically. Or sawdust. People will relate how when they change the amounts of this that peoples chickens and other birds stop laying eggs. Then they have to figure out how to supplement that again to get them going again. People also find cellulose in not only animal feeds but also for people foods.
    And these animals are raised on this long term.
    Now one of the tells for this is that that when you look at people quoting farm animal life expentancies some animals life in years doesn't make sense. They quote dairy cows only being good to live for 3 or 4 years. Have you thought about how strange that is? People get horses, geese, dogs, cats, to live for over a decade. Sheep and goats can live close to 10 years. But one day we wake up and nobody thinks cows can live very long.
    So something is wrong with how we feed and take care of them.
    And I mention this because in your video you quoted raw milk as not being helpful. I couldn't help but think that this might be because we're raising sick animals. And its possible that this might be a different story with animals raised differently? And this is meant to be proactive and positive commenting and not combative.
    I don't know if teeth can be healed or not. But I hope they can.
    But... the healthcare system in the US is deplorable. Its very medieval in nature, not because of the technology but because of the mindset and how they have all these hierarchies and they've created this system where they can pick and choose what they treat. And they can choose to treat some illnesses without actually going at the root of the matter and this keeps people going in circles for years just burning up money. And then they also have this thing where its too niche oriented and they don't go out of their niche, not because they can't but because they are stubborn and want to live in only 1 box. So nothing ever gets done. They also have this mindset that everything they say is double talk and they aren't really telling you what's going on but keeping you out of the loop with their own jargon and a social class system where they are up in the clouds and you are beneath them. So you don't need to know anything useful.
    Its a worthless system of disease management not healthcare.

      @Noah Riding, I couldn’t agree more. Thank you for mentioning the fact that much of our health problems start with our diet, which as best as we may try will continue to be difficult or insufficient because of poor farming practices, poor nutrition in animal feed and plant food, chemical use, genetic engineering, etc, and the health problems these cause will mostly continually worsen and become more complicated and unresolved due to our healthcare system being purposefully designed to NOT heal you and merely suck money out of you while prolonging a disease management symptom management process as long as possible until ultimately urgent emergency care is needed.
      That seems to be the most common complaint I see everywhere and experience myself, and the only way it will change is to voice these concerns communicate and spread this issue with everyone, including the politicians, agricultural corporations, healthcare corporations, doctors, and everyone else. This abuse in the name of greed from the highest levels that affects all of us has got to come to an end right now!

Long story short....I started eating grass fed meat, fish, lots of healthy animal fats. I added bioavailable vitamins and minerals. Most importantly I started taking vitamin D with K, which drives the minerals into your bones, where it belongs. Just because a plant contains a vitamin or a mineral, it doesn't mean it's bioavailable, and that our body can use it. My body seems to work better when I give it some healthy animals foods, I feel better than I have in a long time..... but that's just me. Madam, it's impossible to remove healthy dental enamel using ultrasonic cleaning tools. She removed hardened plaque deposits called calculus. This buildup PUSHES your gums away from you teeth - this is called gum disease. If you don't get regular cleans you can have alottt of build-up creating the illusion that all your front teeth are united when running your tongue across😅 teeth are individual, your tongue was not used to the sudden change of sensation and hence you assumed you lost tooth structure.
      You sensitivity comes from the fact that- due to gum disease, you have lost bone support, revealing the root surfaces. Yes, you will have sensitivity once that hard buidlup is cleared away because your roots are not used to being exposed to rapid change in temperatures that comes from eating drinking speaking. Use a toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth. It will help only if used consistently.
      I really recommend discussing with your oral health care professional and asking them these concerns so that they can clear them up with explanations.

    Some Notes from this Master Class: Oats are a seed & are the worst thing to eat for dental health. (Dr Weston Price said this too. )
    Healthiest vegans ate low or no nuts.
    Coconuts, while not a nut, IS a seed.
    In the absence of fats you have to eat a lot of fruit. A Fruiterian diet consists of 80% fruit, 15% vegetables and 5% seeds. It can be a very successful diet with high amounts of antioxidants. That usually also takes high amounts of non-GMO ester-C to be healthy, that's calcium C & easier on the stomach. Combine with lots of exercise & enjoyable activities.
    Good antioxidant rich fruits: kiwis, mangoes & berries + avocados & olives. Bad high sugar fruits: bananas?, apples & pears. (Rinse or brush after those? & eat more antioxidant rich berries & fruits with them?).
    (Side note from comment:) Get the book: Whole Body Dentistry.
    Many raw vegans blame fat & cut out coconut, & most seeds & nuts.
    Most SEEDS are full of plant toxins called lectins.

I have been trying to get it solved, finally found a holistic dentist who is trying to shift my teeth back to their normal position. I have been taking eggshells and cell salts homeopathy. This method works! My cavity is gone! I went to the dentist and I walked out cavity free. I tried the vegan version to healing my tooth. (It wasn't completely vegan, because I did supplement with animal products. The animal products I ingested were "fermented cod liver oil and butter oil" by Green Pasture brand and "Dessicated Liver" by Perfect Supplements brand.) Lastly, I also soaked 1/2 cup sesame seeds for 4 hours, rinsed them, and then blended them for 2 minutes to make sesame milk. I used a milk bag to strain it. I then mixed in 2T of "Wheatgrass" powder and 2T of "Spirulina" powder from Purium brand. I'm not sure exactly if my sesame milk as needed, but with everything in combination, I was able to heal my cavity! Many blessings to you all trying to heal your cavities! I just wanted to come on and state that it is possible!

  • @IloveCamels335
    @IloveCamels335 Рік тому +4

    I don’t think there is a “one size fits all” solution to dental cavities. But overall I would say it’s usually a lot of nutritional deficiencies and eating the wrong things for your personal physiology. Then minerals are leeched out of teeth and bones to balance blood etc and keep the body functioning. I personally don’t do lots of fruits and overall eat much more animal based and my teeth are fine and gums are strong. And I actually eat quite a lot of oats perhaps 3-4 times a week as breakfast. I suppose if you are already deficient in many minerals and then overdo the oats then it could be detrimental . Not easy to figure out what is truly good for us. Many follow supposedly healthy diet fads not understanding they themselves are actually causing their very problems.

    • @RaederlePhoenix
      @RaederlePhoenix  6 місяців тому

      I'm with you right up until the end of that comment. I think people already have problems and that's why they try fad diets. It may give them new problems, but that's a different story. I was pretty furious at my brother when he tried to pin my problems on my diet when I had literally recovered from a lifelong chronic condition due to dietary changes and was still in the process of building my strength. There are many situations out there, and everyone is hoping for answers.

    • @IloveCamels335
      @IloveCamels335 6 місяців тому

      @@RaederlePhoenix it’s a process finding out what the optimum diet for oneself consists of. What you are doing now might be better than what you did before yet it might Still be long ways from ideal. I maintain what I said in my last sentence. We usually cause the issues by following a way of eating that’s not indicated for our type/ancestry. Not everyone does good on plant based, not everyone should do carnivore. Taking into account where you are from and your ancestry usually gives clues as to what one is supposed to eat. And certain types of “foods” are no gos for all of us ie highly processed stuff overly sugar laden devoid of nutrients etc

    I found out vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins for your teeth. I was surprised to learn this.
    I had a great Dentist growing up. I asked him if calcium was good & help the teeth ?
    he said, NO, it has nothing to do with it. He said you should focus on vitamin C.
    And a lot of calcium, we have to be careful, especially the cheaper ones. Are garbage, & the body literally just throws it out, as waste….

    • @IloveCamels335

      Especially for the gums you need vitamin C, to keep them strong and healthy. And the more sugar (also include carbs here) you consume the more vitamin C you need as they are similar in structure so the uptake of one inhibits the uptake of the other

    Oats are good for your teeth and bones as they contain silica, you just need to prepare them properly (sprout or ferment, preferably both) and eat with other food that helps you to benefit - dairy, oily fish, leafy greens, grass-fed meat and berries will help you absorb the nutrients in oats.
