The spinning of the saber was nothing I hadn't seen before since I love scouring the net for saber videos, but jumping over the saber as it spins and tossing it behind your back, both of which I am SOOO glad you slowed down the video for so that we could fully appreciate the moves, just amazed me.
these skills as flashy and beautiful as they may be. are useless in a real fight and are basically just a sword dance. she wouldn't last a second in a real fight if shes in the air struggling to catch the sword from one hand to another !

Its too late for that, they've wrapped all of that up besides maybe a few minor re-shoots and touching up visual effects. But she *is* amazing, and hopefully with this exposure they will hire her in some capacity (whether it be a character like Ray Park's Darth Maul, or a stunt double, trainer, whatever...) for the future trilogies coming eventually. She definitely deserves it. The Star Wars movie coming out this Christmas isn't the last, just the last tied directly to the Skywalkers. There are tons of other things they can explore in the Star Wars universe; hopefully they don't screw it up. I'd like to see a movie follow Thrawn the military genius, or prequels tied to the Old Republic...

I must sincerely applaud you for your skills and talents, Michelle. I've watched the Star Wars movies ever since I was a young boy, and have often found myself wishing that I could spin a lightsaber around much like the Jedi/Sith (and yourself) do. Additionally, while you say of your video demonstration, "Nothing in it is very difficult," there's a part of my brain that watches your incredible performance and goes, ".....Um, possibly, but I think I'd need at least a decade's worth of practice before getting one-millionth as good as THAT!!!!"
When I was a little kid back in the late 1970s and early 1980s , and we couldn’t find the Darth Vader hollow tube lightsaber or afford it , my mother took two broomsticks and made lightsabers for me and my little brother . She painted them orange and wrapped some black electricians tape around one end for the grip . I was so proud and happy for that toy she made us that , I was as devastated as a little kid could be when one of my favorite toys broke . I have been thinking of remaking those sabers for me and my brother and , I’ll be 50 years old in january .
I had a 12 string guitar that a friend of mine took a pucture of, and that picture was liked by Marty Friedman, so, that was really awesome. It really is cool, when people of those levels, like or even just notice, something about us, it's pretty awesome, and strange to think, that to them, they're just normal people, liking something cool. Congradulations, I had seen your video before this reaction video, and you really do some pretty awesome stuff, so, please, keep it up!
