Hello UA-cam friends! Today, we're brewing up the TrueBrew India Pale Ale kit, which falls in line very closely with a traditional British style IPA. Lower IBUs, some oak to simulate what the flavor was like from a barrel, and with a strong malt tone. This will be the first time we've brewed on the electric system doing an extract batch, so it should be fun. Thanks for watching as always!

I just ordered cascade hop rhizomes from your store. I haven't grown hops before and I am looking forward to it. Keep the videos coming Joe.

Thanks for the video Joe. I have my Spike Brewing kettles on order matching your system. I've been brewing with the True Brew kits for the last five years and am excited to go all grain. The last brew kit I just did was a Double IPA and the cost was about $72. I'm curious what the ingredient cost on for the same type of batch via all grain would cost. Can you give me an estimate?

72 bucks for a brew kit is pretty expensive. It must have been some pretty awesome beer.

It is an awesome beer. The additional extracts and hops included in the Double IPA makes the difference from a $45 regular IPA kit. I think i've since answered my original question on the cost of an all grain Double IPA (at approximately $30 to $40 depending on the amount of hops).
