Glad you're back. You were one of the first people I watched brew when I first started out many many years ago. Cheers!
Dropped into the shop last week Joe. Met your brother. Great experience. Hope to be back in soon and more often. Nice shop.
Yes!!! You’re brewing again!! This put a smile on my face. I love your set up. I want to build one identical to yours. Welcome back Joe!! Thank you!!
Wow! Welcome back!
The first video I’ve watched of yours was how to smoke a pipe! Long ago. It’s been awhile...cheers!
Hey Joe. First off happy holidays. Secondly, hang in there. Enjoy your channel. I'll be visiting your shop as I'm in Cedar Rapids. I'll look you up and try helping the shop out soon. Thanks again and stay safe.
Good video, its great to see a new brew video. I learned a lot about brewing from you over the years. Cheers!
Happy New Year Joe! Im still rocking with you after 10 years, it's been a great ride!
Glad yo see your back. I used to watch your videos when I lived in Florida. Now I live in Iowa near DSM and there is no homebrew stores out here 😑
Oh man--that sucks! Well, if you happen to get over here to the Eastern side, stop on by. The whole homebrew industry has taken a nosedive the last couple years, so I know a lot of the guys in the state have closed up shop. We're down to just the one shop now, and are still struggling to keep up with it. Here's hoping there is some renewed interest in the coming years. Cheers!
I read online a place called Chester’s Coins and Gifts in Ames has homebrew supplies.
I loved Beer Crazy in Urbandale for their grain selection.. Was a huge bummer when they closed last year.
Great to see you back on the ‘tools’. Hope 2021 is a great year for you, your family and your businesses. Also Joe keep that brewing going. Greg (Australia). Ps. Happy new year.
Dude welcome back! I just got off a two year run without brewing and just like when I got going I looked back at all your vids (or as many as I could) for inspiration and guidance. Got the itch going and building a 2 vessel RIMS system right now! I hope to see more!
@@terpsichoreankid just curious. I’m running a BIAB and converting to this rims system. What sort of efficiencies are you seeing with your setup?
Good to see you Joe.. this is Bob from Warrenville. I'm getting the itch to start brewing again. It's hard with 2 little guys running around though. If I get my setup going again I'll order everything from your shop. Good luck bro.
Hey Joe! What do you know? Long time since we've seen yer pretty face. 😁
Hope all's well and good.
Great seeing you in action again. 🤘
Man, I love your channel, the first Brewing channel for me! I wish a wonderful 2021
Holy macaroni you’re back on the UA-cams!
Man I miss your stuff. Stay in touch and check in from time to time.
Hey Joe, love your videos. When reading your recipes talk about the water How much water is used and why.
Nice joe. I'd try the same recipe without the hop spider to see and only one yeast pack to see which one tasted better. Nice to see you back.
2 vessel brewing - an exclusive club.........
I made an ESB with that yeast I have been chasing for 3 brews after. It was so crisp and nice but I was never able to repeat it even with my good notes and ferm temp control.
Interesting... Wonder if it was a difference in yeast production batches or something... Always something to learn with this hobby, that's for sure.
Good to see you back brewing again Joe, hope the ESB goes well my man! Is there a reason you use 2 sachets for 5 gallons? Usually I use one per 5G! Cheers man, Happy New Year!
Nah--just had two so decided to throw them both in. Lower grav like this, one would have been more than enough. I'm a "chuck it all in" kind of guy LOL Happy New Year!
How did it come out? 😀
Fuckin hell i miss brewing beer. Its been about the same amount of time since i made my last batch.
OMG Joe yes... 🍺 🍻 Beer beer beer . Now 2 thing's are going to happen.the apocalypse or 2021 is going to be ok!... 😂
What's ballpark on what this kind of setup costs?
My setup is pretty intense. A lot of folks, myself included at the start of all this, use propane or large electric cooktops, so a "normal" setup could be just a couple hundred bucks. My setup here is a couple grand all told, with the the controllers, custom pots, pump, lines, etc.
@@terpsichoreankid thanks for the info! It definitely looks like a prime setup
Good Lord you're back! Very happy to see you well and brewing again. You are the reason why I jumped into brewing. Thank you brew master for exist!!!
