good vid, that style i.p.a.sounds appealing to me, I'm definitely not a ipa guy, I generally stay away from brewing American ipa's and the in your face hops, but after your video think I might try some UK ipa's Cheers Joe
yesterday I brewed my English ipa Demon Child.....not traditional but loaded with over 9oz of British hops for a 5 gallon batch and the base malt is Maris Otter
Hey Joe, just wondering what was your carbonation method for the British IPA did you force carbonate or just set and forget if so what PSI? Love your show man.
Great looking beer!! 17
I was just going to say this looked and sounded like an English Bitter....nice review! We just brewed our next two brews: Single Hop Citra IPA and a Double IPA with wakatu, belma and other hops we have never used before! I have video of our brew day (night actually) on my channel. Cheers!
Thanks so much! Still learning a lot about brewing and do the videos to chronicle what we do and hopefully learn for those who also watch and comment. Should have a review of our most recent brews in a week or so. Cheers!
Just wondering if you could mix extract with some decanted hot liquid before adding back in to system,it should be quicker and give you confidence that it is mixed well and not catch on heating element.👍
hey joe where can i find a hops filter like yours?
are you selling an All Grain version?
Oh what a groove that intro is. Who is it?
sounds like a 80's Porn introduction to me.what ever it it has a a good rithum to it.
It's down on the one and syncopation of the two, three and four.

Intro...are those talons? Trim those fingernails bro! :)
Hi Joe! Nice review. I brewed a BSG saison extract kit and I was amazingly surprised at how good the brew came out. It was so aromatic with the beligan-y saison typical aromas and the flavor was very banana, peppery, clove, and some malty sweetness. I gotta say, the yeast were the star of that beer show! It came out so great for a brew kit. (i know, not hating on kits but my luck with them has been CRAPPY!) I usually brew all-grain but a friend of mine received a bunch of brew kits by BSG and he never brewed beer and asked if I would show him how to brew it. I did, but I didn't have high hopes for it. But once it was done, I was impressed! I'm gonna brew another kit he gave me for a white IPA. I hope it comes out as great as the saison. Cheers! oh, and happy brewing!
