My closely-related 2018 F60 MINI Countryman's finance payments are WAY higher than any of the figures you cited, even with my outstanding credit. Ironically, in real-life, I could have gotten an X1 way cheaper, but I'm still clinging to my manual transmissions.
Yeah the monthly payments are typically lower on a lease. You're paying depreciation, not financing the full value of the vehicle. There's also the down payment for the lease which is a factor, that can be as high as $4500 or more. I personally wouldn't buy a new BMW or lease one, but I get why others can and do. How do you like the F60?
Niko G yeah obviously, there are many variables that go into lease vs. finance, just a general overview of payments. Ultimately the total cost over the period is what should be compared
BIMMER ZEIT My local dealer mentioned they’ve had to do rod bearings on the early generation 4 cylinders already, yikes. But the torque is very impressive.
Lol you know nothing about cars because I had a 2017 bmw x1 and the 2018 bmw x1 and they were both touch screen.. that feature is not new 😅 I believe the 2019 is the first one with CARPLAY.. which you didn’t even talk about.. terrible review btw
Good job Rich , good to see you back
thanks Nathan, hope you are well sir!
My sister and brother-in-law‘s X2 has the same thin panoramic moon roof cover
they don't make them like they used to! But hey, gotta save production costs somewhere.

OMG you are at Booth Park in Stratford right?
John Pallock yes John that is correct!
I like it, I like it a lot 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not the new facelifted one though that's the only reason I wanted to watch
Not clear with the leases.. you cant compare monthly unless you know how much they put down!!

I just bought this on impulse
"you can't hear the turbo, which is nice" - aight I'm out.
jk great video!
I don’t think there’s a 6 cylinder X1 anymore. The first gen had the 35i 300HP. But this generation the highest you get is the 28i 4 cylinder
I think you're correct. I do think I'd choose the 6 cylinder in the X3 if available
touchscreens arent the safest option while driving, the idrive systeem always been a topsystem
interesting, I hadn't considered i-drive as safer, thanks for the comment
I like the feeling of that 4-cylinder turbo but from what I’ve heard they all kinds of problems.
I haven't heard any issues with them yet, but the engine bay definitely looks tight to work on!

@@philp7012 scary. Definitely need that factory warranty
On My 2nd Year On My Lease With The X1.. No Problems So Far Except Tire Problems
It’s ok I’m bad at geometry too
It's nice but not my cup of tea 😂 The roof is odd too! I'd say it wouldn't be too long before kids poked their fingers through it!
I prefer the old BMW's myself, the new ones just aren't the same!
@@BIMMERZEITT Every car brand is losing quality. Sad, but true.
I own this model version sdrive 18d and I have an amazing electric sunshade, so depends the extras.
@@gabysolis9475 ah interesting. Thanks for letting us know. This is the cheapest base model available in the US
The X1 is a sub-compact. The X-3 is a compact.
