Glad you shared a picture of your watch, was just wondering what was on the wrist. Thanks for the review, i’ve just bought the m-sport version of the X1 and can’t wait to pick it up. Right hand drive ofcourse as i’m in the UK. Regards .....
Thanks! As a long term comment, the car has 32,000 miles and hasn’t had any issues except the instrument panel developed an issue with the display and was replaced under warranty. Still on the original set of tires, although they will be replaced soon even though they still have adequate tread. Car does not perform well on regular gas; premium is recommended.
I have a 2017 X1 (UK owner). I noticed that the update doesn’t include sliding rear seats as std any more. That’s a downer. Also, in my experience LED headlights are similar to HID’s. I’ve had 3 cars with HID’s and have LED’s on my X1. They’re brilliant, don’t get me wrong, but not a huge jump from the HID Xenons.
I think you have the best dash trim option, I have the MSport 20d xDrive with. The same dash trim what a car... My first BM and I’m impressed great video 👌🏾
Great review. I have an X1 and probably won't buy a new one. And this because of the terrible Digital Turning Signal, I deeply hate that turning signal behavior. It caused many dangerous situations for me. e.g. (1)when giving direction, let's say to the left, by a long push, it is really difficult, even after years, to turn it off, most of the times I try it it's giving direction to the right, and other way around. Also, I don't hear the Turning Signal well. Question: has this changed in the new BMW X1? I can imagine many X1 drivers have complained about the same....
Not sure what you are referring to. The car has a standard lane change three blink signal with a light press and then a standard signal that cancels when you turn. Both functions work perfectly in the 2019.
Whitney is saying when signaling left and then canceling the signal, the stick will go all the way over to signaling to the right instead of stopping in the center. i have this issue on the 2019.
Let's see,new york tags on it,that means,hi beam dimmer switch is disabled or at least a new york driver has no idea what it is or what it does, also,no right turn signal because new yorkers never get out of the left lane, also, you don't need all that horsepower because new yorkers rarely go more than 10 mph under the speed limit, new yorkers = worst drivers in the U.S.
Haha that's a good one, pretty much true. Present company excluded, my other car is an M2 competition... I know exactly where my high beams are and I'm rarely under the speed limit. Changing lanes without signaling is illegal in NY state ;-)
Love this video. Just bought a used 2019 X1. Picking it up this week.
Did you like it? I’m looking for a used one too.

You got it! Race with the devil on Spanish Highway
Just picked up mine last week from Carmax. Drove 130 miles and about 122 all highway. Reset the MPG before I left and I literally got 40 MPG

Looks like good car for a future better half.

The option that I wish I would have bought for mine (2017) was the Heads Up Display.

Curious as to how the suspension holds up?
Curious question, but no issues after 25k miles. After 100k, who knows?
when do you think that BMW will change the exterior body of SUV? I'm thinking of buying BMW x1 2019
Sorry, no idea on that one. I would check Edmonds reviews, they might have insight
Thank you
