Also lived in California for a while and felt the same way. Now I’m in New Orleans and the amount of amazing vintage stuff practically being thrown or given away is overwhelming.
@@justlanchen I'm not even trying to be nice when I say that you are rather genius in many of your ideas. Just a fact. And thank you for all you do. I know that making these videos aren't as easy as a lot of people think they are.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Art Deco is my favorite interior design and I lap up any hints or tricks. You never disappoint! Sending kind regards from the Yarra Valley, Australia.
I'm planning a 50th anniversary party with a 1920s theme. I have several elements of art deco in the decor. However, I'd also like to have an art deco style photo op area, Do you have any suggestions on how to recreate this? What type of couch or settee should I look for? My color palette is black, gold, and white. I'm wondering what color would be good for a faux accent wall? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
If you know what you're looking for eBay is a good place to look for vintage anything. For my wedding I bought vintage depression glass creamers, for my floral centerpieces.
since yer in L.A. like me and since L.A. is on a mission to be the number one urban area in the country in terms of having zero regard fer its own history and where contractors and property developers do as they damn well please as long as the money is there you mite wanna add that you can still find art deco wherever it hasn't been torn down and replaced with a 7-11 or a domino's pizza.

Actual stained glass windows can also be found via antiquing and hung with eye hooks and chains, etc. over your existing windows.
That is such a good idea. Thank you so much for sharing 🥰🥰🥰
My first apartment in Chicago still had original art deco fixtures. I really miss the decor. Thanks for sharing these ideas!
