I love the floral sheet as wallpaper. I found this stunning painting by Maria Oakey Dewing, called “Garden in May”, painted in 1895. The original is hanging in the Smithsonian. The frame I got is embossed silver (perfect on my mauve walls). Very Victorian.
I have a curio cabinet from the 1800s (family heirloom) and while I don’t have any teacups, I actually keep my porcelain figurines in them. They’re great for displaying any collection you have
Thank you so much for this video. I really enjoyed it. I'm actually changing all my room and this helps a lot. I wish I could thrift the things I want though, but sadly I don't find those types of things in my country, and if I do find them, they are super expensive. That's why I'm trying to diy everything I can. I'm almost done with a gallery wall, and some sconces. Your videos always inspire me. Thanks for the hard work!
You are very talented, well done channel. As I complete my renovated 1870s era home, your videos have a lot of great ideas, excellent design choices and just exactly what I am looking for. Thanks for your hard work.
Great ideas, you should do a video on a Victorian Christmas ideas. I want to do a Victorian Christmas with burgundy and gold mostly. Like how did the Victorians decorate for Christmas?
Always a treat to see how you reimagine a space. I have no idea how to get a sheet stuck to a wall but I may try a smaller chunk of fabric somewhere to master the technique! You make it look easy but not sure it is... Always a pleasure...🎉🎉🎉thank you and happy Chonese New Year!
I just discovered your channel via your renaissance faire videos, and it’s like finding gold! I love this type of content and this video finds me at a great time where I’m reworking my room for an aesthetic more similar to this. Thank you so much! It’s so cozy here
Thanks for the ideas. I have a Queen Anne Victorian house here by downtown LA, so I'm always looking for authentic decor ideas for my interior. It's been a fine line between antique cool and grandma's house 😅.
I’ve managed to do a few of these on my own it seems and am glad to see I’m on my way to my Victorian interior 😊 The advice about a sheet for wallpaper and how to apply it with starch were both brilliant, I have to keep an eye out for that now! Haven’t had as much luck with frames for my gallery wall but one day 🤞The one place I DID find luck was a huuuuge ornate gold frame for $10 once, though it is sadly too heavy to try hanging on my apartment walls.
The wall candle sconces would look better if they were gold, the wood tones of them kind of blend in with your wall treatment and if they were gold it would make them pop and they would go with the gold in the picture frame. Another way of doing the sheets is by attaching them to fir strips with a staple gun and then attaching them to the wall. I love wall collages, I have them in my living room and my kitchen. Also, in my kitchen/dining area I have a china cabinet that displays not just my teapots and cups, I put in some whimsical by adding bird figurines and porcelain flower knickknacks. Anyway, I enjoyed watching and listening to you, I am subscribing.

I adore those wooden sconces and got lucky enough to find the same pair on eBay! Thanks for tips/ideas, and I look forward to more of your video:)
Gel stain can be used over already sealed wood pieces
As usual, extra fun. Thanks!!
