Finally! Thank you for this video. I have P3Dv.5.2. And I never used EA, because the clouds looks weird and blurry. When I copied your settings in my P3D, Rex and Active Sky the sky looks amazing with EA enabled! Finally! Thank you,again!🤩🤩
Thanks for sharing your settings…..very helpful. One thing that does annoy me in P3Dv5.3 and unfortunately Active Sky has not fixed it is setting a fairly accurate cloud base. I like to use P3D for instrument practice and so setting a cloud base to break out of cloud on an approach is pretty important…….but if I set 500ft cloud base it always ends up around a thousand feet higher!!! I’ve even tried the cloud offset in AS but it seems to do nothing. Am I missing something here? Is there a tweak or setting I’ve missed? Do you experience this as well? I’ve checked online forums but can’t really get a straight answer. Cheers
Thank you for this video! I'm currently using Active Sky, I'm pretty happy flying during the daytime in P3D, however, during the sunset/sunrise my sim looks like a horror movie, background color seems to become greenish and looks really weird, what is sunrise/sunset looks like when using Sky Force?
@@TogaSimulation Yeah I knew you can turn the volumetric clouds off but I thought with EA on, you are unable to change the sky colors or sun/moon textures. It will display the EA ones instead

Hello, im using p3dv4.5 and bought REX a few months ago but had to uninstall it because the amount of stuttering was insane while flying. Any ideas why? I have a pretty powerful PC (i9-10850k, GTX 3060)

I thought when you have EA enabled, you can't use REX sky colors, or sun/moon textures
No there is a setting where you can remove EA clouds

I just bought Active Sky for P3Dv5, and it says incompatible p3d version, but I'm on the latest version of p3d. Any ideas?

That’s odd maybe you need to tweak your settings to get the best performance. You have got all the latest drivers installed etc?
@@TogaSimulation I do, i tweaked somethings, I may try to reinstall it again and see.
You can switch off hdr, in the cfg file 😏
