2:32 to 3:26 Most hilarious part of the video! 😂
I am getting a range of 240+ km in city drive condition. I always recharge when the charge is down to around 15 to 20 percent.
We dont even drive gasoline/diesel car to empty tank. Therefore i dont understand why would anyone drive an ev to zero charge.
This is a very good car and i am happy to own it. It is one of the best option available in market as of now.
Thanks for sharing your experience. This is a test we do to specifically ascertain what a car does when its charge is completely drained (viz what fail-safes are built into the system) while checking its full range as well.
On 100% charge it shows 235kms & low alert starts at 20% & we shud stop at least at 10% …so practical range is 170-180 with AC …don’t know how 240+ ???
What an entertaining yet informative video. Loved it.
Agree …awesome review…fun to watch …comments of calculator display , trip adjuster pin …are absolutely correct
I am getting 270 + KM per charge .. 9000 km driven .. Single day longest trip 850 km .. 5 adults , full boot loaded , with AC and Music on every time
Lol how? Do u run it till dead every time. I bet it's around 180kms practical because most people are going to charge it once it reaches 20 or 15
How did you fast charge it? How long did it take?
It’s a lie…. I challenge you on its range test, it doesn’t even cross 200 on full charge. Don’t spread lies here
@@mayankwad1 why I have to spread lies ? 11 months Now 40000 km now.. you should do soft peddling and way to regenerate tech.. i am pay my electric charges and trip data is logged on Citroen App ..
I got 265 range 3 adults ac at blower 1 speed 70 - 75 and eco mode.
That's why i watch Zigwheels over any other moto channel. Kbhi disappoint ni krte
Tell me why, 1.6% / 5kms left and it ain't moving😂😂
Thanks for your video! I know eC3 car sold in India has more or less the same architecture of the newest eC3 European model. In this month Citroen starts to sell it in Europe, so I expect the same behavior maybe with a range 250 km or less in future test drives of European model. Still thank you for your video! 🙏
We love these kind of videos.
Thank you, we’ll do these more often.
Loved the antics guys
😁😁
Didn't realize I would be featuring in this video 😂
This is by far the most informative video of EC3 Citroen on UA-cam. Let me add to it that my car is not giving me more than 150-170 kms range without AC and with AC it is even far lesser. This car has lot of issues with its range, quality, and lot of cost cutting is been done. It’s NCAP rating is zero absolute disaster to safety of its occupants. Not a car recommend for buying.
Thank you for sharing your experience
I think this is the first EV i've seen that doesnt show exact range. Most EVs though in limp mode, can still be driven beyond 0km range. I think Citroen needs to recalibrate the eC3 system. How bad was it as a purely City Car though? I mean compared to its closest competitor? In terms of driving, seat comfort and ride?
See my comment about LFP battery and new car. This is expcted with a new LFP car.
Wow. Your office is just 1 kms away from my house.. Great! ❤
So we need to carry a small generator with necessary fitments for a emergency charge up
You speak such beautiful English, I could listen to you all day long 😅
Great work guys.
As for Citroen... Add a decent instrument panel digital, add Electric and retractable ORVM. Then 200+ range and good advertising will get you the sales. Learn from Kia/MG!
Before that, add liquid cooling
@@kiranreddy7864 what is your problem...i am driving this car almost 4 months..
And clocked 3800 km...mujhe koi issue nehi hay first charging ya milage leke...
@@saptarsiroy8723 right.. I hv owned a ec3. Haven't faced any issues till now except frequent DC fast charger disconection
@@duopedallers7381 that is because the battery is getting heated up under hot sun and the charging is getting cut off.
@@saptarsiroy8723 or type ec3 charging problem in UA-cam. You will understand. I have given a review to electric cars india yt channel
I am happy that Ec3 can be pushed, it was near impossible to push e2o by six people, I own both evs and I m happy with both
Another friend and I pushed my e2o Plus for almost a km from where it died to the nearest charging point at a friends house.
Why the ev version doesn't have rear wiper?
You guys singing made my day
😆😆
I like the way zigwheels channel for featuring these kind of content which the common man expects big fan of the creators of these content especially the duo I was so impressed with the previous video on Honda elevate #zigwheels #tusharkamath
Thanks for your time! Love reading comments like these. :)
@@Arun_Shenoy ty for your response I wish to see a video on your crew and the vehicles they own and the two wheelers and four wheelers they dream to own
The issue with turtle mode and the car dying at 1.6% is because it's an LFP battery. Unlike NCM/NCA battery, LFP has a flat discharge curve and the car needs to learn the SOC gauging properly. It's too new car and the BMS probably didn't learn it yet. You mentioned it had only 370 km on the clock.
You should fully charge and discharge the car a few times before testing it. Then you should have accurate SOC readings.
Very truthfull video 👍
Glad you think so!
Balewadi High Street office?
Its nt just EV idk what car manufacturers think that indians just want a car. Meanwhile the same model internationally is on whole different level with lots of options and varients. Idk whats seriously wrong the govt doesn't cooperate or idk what the problem is. The best example to understand this is Honda city
excellent ..content..Tushar Mam....
🙏🙏
The lowest range in which i have drove it was 22 and the ac didn't cut off and if i drive it on the highway on 60-80 i will get range above 280
Lovely video.
🙏 thank you
Its a dissappoining part from Citroen as it shows false statements on the 90's looking meter console
great efforts guys. loved it
Glad you liked it!
Fun video 👌👌
So instead of saying "better be home before (time)", we'll now have to say "Better be home before covering 200 km".
Still 200 km on a single charge is not bad for my area - Goa. Though I think the Tata Tiago EV has done better.
If someone can confirm that for me, it'll be really helpful.
We’re looking to run the same test with the Tiago EV as well. Hopefully we’ll have that video out in a few weeks time
@@zigwheels Looking forward to it.
I'm getting around 260-270 with ac 3 person inside in Kolkata city traffic.
I AM GETTING 150 TO 180 IN TIAGO 24KW CITY DRIVE 3REGEN
Please do an ADAS comparison of city and verna.
Hi Ram,
We have done a back to back test of their ADAS. The Verna's radar-based ADAS system has better calibration. It is not too sensitive, and the lane-keep assist works wonderfully well as it keeps the car in the center of the lane. The City's camera-based system works well too but doesn't feel as sophisticated as Verna's, and it struggles when it's dark since it relies solely on camera technology.

Pushing the car in traffic would give a bad impression to the common public from staying away from this car 😀
Not our intent but in the case of just about any other car we’ve ever driven, the range goes to 0km before anything else. Here it knocked out while still showing 5km left
so to everybody that thought this would be the big tesla killer be careful. It is still a car and with that 40 kw battery if you want those 200km no accelerating, heating,a/c or climbing. and get a home charger for that night boost
I have a doubt. It has very low power but good torque and it had only single speed. So in hilly areas in steep incline with AC and five passengers will it be able to climb? 🤔 Can someone who knows about these things explain...
Electric motor has torque... hillclimb was never a Problem at it is more diesel than gasoline type of engine 😮
Please do a test without switching on the ac then check the range
No.
No. We need AC since we cut down all the trees.
😂😂😂 love the song remix
12:05 😂😂😂
I would drive 24 hours a day if i got paid to drive in traffic, Tushar.
I was expecting a bit more range for the eC3 considering it has a big battery pack.
I hv ec3. I got 250+ every time with ac
@@duopedallers7381 sir how many passenger and what average speed when you get this range?
It’s still better than Nexon max which shows false range
Big battery pack? the tata nexon ev/prime with similar battery people were telling it gives less than 200km range, this thing went upto 232Km.
@@dnuworld77 with 4 person inside including driver in city & highway mixed
Indian EVs are extremely disappointing. For a bit more than the price of an eC3 or Nexon EV, you get the Bolt EV with double the battery and way faster charging than these cars.
They do not have home test drive which is kind of weird
You should have started uber or ola service for the day 😉😉
The French does it again, all show, no go.
Few drawbacks yes, but 230km on a full charge for a city EV is decent, no?
you've never been to france & probably cant even afford a scooter
@@zigwheels It truly is decent, the car looks nice too, but showing 6 kms of range and seeing your team push the vehicle should not be acceptable. Its like Wearing a Rs 15 lakhs french branded shirt with holes in the armpit. Not everyone sees it, until you have to raise your hands.
@@jollyjohn6403till better than nexon ev , nexon has many problems like it stops any time , meter shows false battery range, fire incidents
@@jashanvirsingh2166 That is Unacceptable too.
I am getting 260Km with ac .
Not sure what Citroen is hopping to achieve with this car, a Second Hand e-Golf is better in every way, even as a used car !
Why won’t they indicate? 😢
😂 Baba re humko is tension hi nahi chahie
Citroen, kindly hire a new young designer
What both of you believe ?
I believe Tata tigor ev is more practical
Considering the Tigor EV managed roughly the same distance but including highway stretches where the range loss is quicker, yes
At 100 percent if it shows why the hell are they claiming 320.
Now do that in a Tiago EV!!
Coming soon!
Where is hinjewadi?? How can you skip the most annoying part of pune.
🤣
Fret not, we dealt with enough traf-auma to make up for the lack of vitamin H🤣
@@zigwheels 🤣🤣
VERY BAD ANALYSIS
Citroen half hearted entry…. they will get out of India in 2 years straight. Don’t buy anybody of their cars.
There's a future, and it's powered by Petrol
even experts said dont go along qith ur phone to zero battery.... do charge it on 15-20% for better range .... it will always give more than 250 kms....
What stupid way of testing the range! Do you dry up your petrol tank in tank to tank mileage/range tests calculation? 😂
It’s not just to test range, it’s also to see what the car does once the charge nears/reaches 0%
