If Citroen bring this C3 in India then it would be the no 1 player by year end. But they never do, and hence Citroen will be exiting India inside 3 years.😅
For some reason I feel this company intentionally want themselves to fail. They are selling pre historic models in India where market is set to explode.
Replaced by a chain. But there are still problems with that motor. Opel/ Vauxhall Corsa were equiped with it last year: there could be elongated chain (with shifting in the position of the links !) and problems with the chain tensioner. There is no information if they solved the problem with oil consumption (maybe not enough time/ kms driven to have a feedback ?)
It’s a Stellantis product: of course it is a quality disaster! They had only sub-mediocre quality car since Stellantis was founded. Stellantis is the worst thing that could have possibly happened to any brand under the Stellantis umbrella!
well... you can check in one of the C4 III models.... they have the same seats, and they've been driving around since 2020....I bet you can find a bunch of them with that mileage on the odo. or, even easier, with facelifted C4 Cactus, which was the first model fitted with this kind of seats
@@pillazamindar8107 Yes. It would be too costly for Indian audience but design could be matched. Design is also one of the reasons that Indian buy cars, apart from mileage.
This would be too expensive for the Market and it’s class, for Example Dacia Duster (Renault in India) in most European countries it’s considered to be cheap alternative of a crossover, in India it’s an average car
Hey! This review starts with with petrol-powered C3, not the e-C3. So our comparison to the Puma refers to that. Feedback's always appreciated, so can we ask why you don't you think this crossover is comparable to the similarly-sized Puma?
@@cinch Because the Puma is 20cm longer, 5cm wider and has 146 liters of extra boot space. The C3 is tall because of the batteries that have to fit at the bottom of the electric version. That doesn't mean it has more space inside than before. It's just lifted. Its height doesn't mean anything. It's only slightly longer than before, but LESS wide. It has the same footprint as the previous C3.
Much unlike Renault I think Citroen has very much lost it with there design incl. the new old logo. It is just all over the place and just seems to lack purpose.
This is a Stellantis catastrophe! It will likely brake down twice a week and fall apart in a medium wind while parking! For the sake of cost savings, Stellantis managed to kill all brands under it’s umbrella!
Looks like a great little car and massive saving over the Puma. Ummm 🤔 did you have your glasses hanging around your neck like some old lady ready to play cards?
It's quite a large surface area and presents all of the relevant information and controls well even if it means having a square Android Auto/Apple CarPlay screen in the middle. It's what a lot of infotainment systems lack especially when they've included heater controls into the display /Jamil

I wonder why they don't sell it in India? It's sad to see Citroen exiting Australia too

For what price?
@@ksisneh come on.. There is nothing special in this too.. Suzuki is giving cars with much better features
@oblivion_007 suzuki cars sold in India are tetra packs. Most cars can crumble anytime
The exterior is giving Jeep Renegade but in a good way. Big thumbs up for the pillowy ride!
I agree, Ben! Good on Citroen for rediscovering what it’s good at.

Got Citroen C4 cactus rip curl grip control edition got no road tax on 16 plate got 61mpg? 1.2 turbo.
Hahah Ace!
@@sejautie Hahah,1.2 turbo? you be careful with all that lack of power😆
Why no center armrest?? lol
No armrest and no grip handles. Weird choice and a deal braker for me
The back reminds me of ecosport? Ford am I wrong or the side.

What about the awful dipped timing belt? Is it gone and replaced with a timing chain?

Agree the hybrid might be the pick of the range. Question…. What would the padding on those seats be like after 60k miles?
Good question! All we can say is the cushions felt nice and springy, rather than weak. More memory foam than cheap mattress. Which bodes well!

From outside, similiar design to VW t-cross..
Toyota Yaris cross is better choice..
Why do we have a completely different C3 in India?

It really has the CAC hydraulic suspension? I thought only the c3 aircross 2024 has it, but also the normal c3 2024 ?!
Yep! They’ve really focused on comfort and beating the rivals
Is it true it has a 160km/h integrated electronic speed limiter?
We weren't able to test this out in rural Austria but I'm sure 160km/h is plenty for this car and its intended customers
/Jamil
@@cinch And one last question
Does it have an indication for RPMs in the digital cockpit? I see only a speedometer..
@@cinch I'd imagine 160kmh or nearly 100mph would be pretty scary in the thing and pretty noisy too,it's piddly 1.2 would be revving it's socks off.
With bigger wheels it would look even better
And ride like a pig
But then you'd need a bigger engine instead of that lawnmower thing under the bonnet.
The car looks beautiful from the outside 😊
It certainly looks unique

The c3 they sell in India is a joke
You lost me in the first 30 seconds because you somehow think that the Ford Puma is a competitor to this Citroën ë-C3.

Does it have pure tech or hybrid diesel engines ???????? If so a disaster.
Sure, Jen
The room in boot looks the same C4 cactus
The logo just makes me think of an Easter egg
😂 I didn't notice

No heat pump and they could have put a 50klw battery in it .
In a petrol car?
@TheSeafordian what are you on about daffty?
If I can have it without the white interior and door bins sign me up
