*What do you think makes the “Paskong Pinoy” special?* 🤔Merry Christmas ELites! 🎄 We hope you’re having a great holiday season this year! 💜
Family most of all
What really makes our Christmas special, i'm proud to say, is us the Filipino people ourselves and how we ensure that Christmas stands out as the best time of the year. It is in our culture of close family ties, of sharing and caring, that gets highlighted in the practice of every Filipino Christmas tradition with the family like hearing dawn masses together, exchanging gifts and gathering around the noche buena table, among others, that kind of Christmas that is anchored on family and relationships makes it very unique and special. Proud Pinoy here.🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
"Christmas in the Philippines starts once you hear Jose Mari Chan singing "Let's Sing Merry Christmas". 😂😅😂😅🤣🤣
Looking back when I was a child, christmas day was the happiest moment to celebrate. Gift giving, christmas song on the radio, christmas carols echoed in the streets, colorful lanterns and lights in every corner gives magical and fantasy feeling during the night. Wow...the foods on table are exhilarating. .napakasarap.. And most of all we celebrate this season traditionally for some couple of months as a preparation in the best way we can in welcoming the birth of Jesus Christ with the whole family or friends or love ones or with the whole community in the spirit of peace and love. And up until now this celebrations of Christmas is become a common part of our traditions.
I always love to see the "biscuit boys" (Isaac & Tyler) in your channel. They are one of the best vloggers and really enjoying their stay in the Philippines. It can show to their vlogs. And I love how you interview different vloggers from other countries ❤ keep it up. 👍
When I first found out that Christmas celebrations started on September 1st, I thought why? BC they celebrate in months end in "BER". Coolest.
I live in Houston, Texas. Some malls already put up Christmas decorations right after Halloween which creates a festive mood for almost 2 months. I honestly don’t think that’s the intention as the reality it is just more practical from a worker perspective to put up Christmas decor as you are bringing down Halloween. The effect is just a bonus.
Ann Tann explains it all well… The Philippines always welcomes you, guys!! They said; Life is good and always fun in the Philippines!! Stay connected!! Happy New Year to all!☃️🎉🍾
True observations...Very good Christmas theme content... very interesting. Merry Christmas to all!
Maligayang pasko sa lahat! Merry Christmas to everyone! Feliz Navidad a todos! 🎄✨🎄✨🎄✨
Merry Christmass to all of you there guys in thank you sooo much for loving our country,in experiencing Christmas here in Phil..we love you all..your always welcome..where ever you are..👍✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭..🎁🎁🎁..
I love that part, “where you want the whole country to be your family…” ❤
Christmas themes in August? Damn, that's wayy too accurate. I can confirm. 😆
Exactly... The first time I read a slogan "CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST" was from a promo ad posted by a certain appliance shop in a city in the Philippines and that made me felt the Christmas spirit early hehe
Viva La Vida!!" ---- i' hear" Jerusalem bells are ringing"..... Roman cavalry choirs are singing".... be my mirror my sword'" my Shield's my missionaries in foreign field".... For some reason" I cant't explain",.. I know saint Peter won't call my name".... Never an honest word' but that was when I ruled the world"..
Familial is indeed a word hehe
If there's a town with so much Christmas Spirit as "Whoville," there's an en entire country like that called Philippines! 🙂
The U.S. has such great influence on the Philippines and the people that American English is the form of English used by the Filipinos.
Happy holidays. I enjoyed your reaction. ❤❤❤
Merry Christmas everyone! 🌲🌟❄️☃️

We are family
Hey guys ! There's no place like home lots of money there I think ...
Yeah very Masarap ❤❤❤
Christmas in the Philippines is more on “namamasko” although people pray, and have family reunions but “namamasko” is very rampant. Just hide if you don’t have something to give either money or gifts or else people will tell you that you are “kuripot”. Christmas in the US is more of praying, thanksgiving, reunions with families, they don’t ask for “pamasko”.
Its also rampant in US if u see how the kids are into it.. just not on Dec 25
It's more christmas fun in the Philippines🤗☺️🎄🎊🎉✨️
Huh?
...perhaps its your kind of thinking...dont include others
Laki ng galit mo sa namamasko ahh 😂
Contrary to what most Filipinos say or believe, the Philippines does not start the Christmas season in September. The fact that Halloween is also celebrated in the Philippines disproves this fallacy.
September 1st is not officially the start of the Christmas season in the Philippines. But at the start of the "ber" months Christmas decorations were put up, Christmas songs were played. Halloween is not even officially celebrated here. Businesses just promote Halloween for business purposes.
The thing missing with your argument is the assumption that we have to celebrate one occasion for the other. But in essence we celebrate both. Like with what Wilfredo said, Halloween is primarily a business festivity. Unlike other countries, we celebrate Christmas a lot seriously because we are a Christian majority nation. Compare it to Korea or Japan where they treat Christmas just like Valentine's day because they don't hold the same values in its celebration as we do. Christmas there is primarily for marketing purposes rather than religious reasons.
@@Martin-yh7vi It's the same in the Philippines. We "celebrate" Christmas starting September because commercial establishments want to remind you that you have to buy Christmas gifts. It's just a marketing strategy.
There's no other logical reason why Filipinos "celebrate" Christmas that early.
@@Martin-yh7vi Christmas is both business (for business establishments) and religion (for some) in the Philippines.
