- 🇮🇳 Hindi and 🇧🇩 Bengali belong to the same language family.
- 🇮🇩 Indonesian and 🇵🇭 Filipino (Tagalog) belong to the same language family.
- 🇮🇷 Persian and 🇱🇧 Arabic are not in the same language family, but they influence each other.
- 🇺🇿 Uzbek and 🇰🇿 Kazakh are in the same language family, and are both influenced by Russian.
- 🇯🇵 Japanese and 🇰🇷 Korean are not in the same language family, but they both borrowed heavily from Chinese, which is why they have a lot of similar words.
Of course, even if you belong to the same language family, you may not be influenced in the same way. For example, Indonesian is heavily influenced by Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Dutch, and Portuguese; while Filipino (Tagalog) has many influences from Spanish and English. That's why these languages share many basic words like "sky" and "ear," but words that are related to newer ideas like "newspapers" and "reporter" are not the same because they are borrowed from different sources.
Hmmm Good knowledge 👍
I think you mean that Arabic influenced Persian, because in Arabic language we do not have Persian words.
@@elafalshahrani3174 dude, there are actually examples in this very video. The word أستاذ in Arabic is actually a borrowed term from استاذ in Classic Persian.
@@kilanspeaks
Who says we use a ( أستاذ ) ? It is not common, we have our own word in our great language which is ( مُعلم ).
@@userstrynaservive
Tell me which words in Arabic have Persian origin? In classical Arabic and not dialects?
In Bengali🇧🇩, we use Ustad🇱🇧🇮🇷🇰🇿🇺🇿 for religious teacher, Shikkhok (from Shikshak🇮🇳) for school teacher, Odhyapok (Adhyapak🇮🇳) for professor & Guru🇮🇳🇮🇩🇵🇭 for musical or martial arts teacher. Perfect medley.😂❤
Actually our language is historically been influenced by many languages including Sanskrit🇮🇳, Arabic🇱🇧 & Persian🇮🇷.
In the Philippines, there are different terms for teacher.
Teacher: Guro/Teacher/Maestro or Maestra/Propesor
@@abrqzx probably derived from Sanskrit??
We also use a lot of Indonesian words like guru, dunia
Bengali itself diverted from Sanskrit bro. It’s not influenced by Sanskrit, but it’s kinda Sanskrit and We don’t use Ustad word anymore in Bengali
@@Kkkkk98909 Bengali was derived from Prakrit & "influenced" by Sanskrit. Sanskrit didn't bore any language. Ustad is used by Bengali Muslims for madrasa teacher widely.
Hi friends✨Thank you so much for watching this video! I hope you have a wonderful day today✨-China🇯🇵

Indonesia 🇮🇩 has Dutch 🇳🇱. Philippines 🇵🇭 has Spanish 🇪🇸 and American English. Older Filipinos will describe "singer" as "kantante", which is from Spanish.
I never heard kantante tho but we have taga-kanta or mang-aawit.
Kantante? Ano yun? LOL
parang taga kanta instead of kantante siguro ung mga ilustrado
The older Filipinos knew Spanish. Ask a Mexican 🇲🇽, other Latino or a Spaniard. 🇪🇸
Correct Tagalog word for singer is mangaawit. I never heard of the word kantante use in actual conversation, but if it is from Spanish then it's a loan word..not original Tagalog

Paper rock scissors in 🇵🇭 can also be said as “jak en poy” which I believe was derived from janken pon from 🇯🇵
True. That Filipino girl is wrong. I don't know what part of the Philippines she is from, but even a Filipino American like me knows that Rock Paper Scissors is pronounced " jak en poy" which is derived from the Japanese language.
@@gregorypetty6887 she's not completely wrong, bato bato pick is also common.
@@hash3776 Then she should have said both "jak en poy" and "bato bato pick". She is the same woman who in the last video got a lot of criticism from other Filipino people.

That´s due to the huge influence of Arabic, Samskrit and Middle Chinese in Asian languages. "Mesa" is Portuguese.
for teacher she missed to say MAESTRO/MAESTRA or guro for Philippines
Yeah those three languages have the most impact on Asian languages, Persian too.
You forget the most influential language of them all which is Persian.

stol in kazach and uzbek is interesting, in german we have "Stuhl", which means chair. There is probably some very ancient connection with these words. As in the "elevated board that things and people can be placed on"
stol is russian word. Kazakhs and uzbeks use many russian words in daily life because they were part of Soviet Union.
@@durbek4389 yeah my idea was that the word is so old, from a time before Slavic and Germanic languages were different.
Maybe both languages are influenced by Russian?
"Stul" - Rus

9. scissors - qaychi, qilliq(This is the name of the scissors used for shearing sheep's wool)
10. pen - ruchka(we also have the word" qalam" but we mean "qalam" to pencil)

10:50 she didn't say "panulat", she said "pluma", which is the spanish word but I've never heard that word in Filipino/Tagalog.
Maybe you didn't learn Filipino from elementary
'World' in Indonesia can be "dunia" (whole world, galaxies etc or the live before die), "jagat/semesta" (whole galaxies/world), also "alam/alam semesta" (the whole world), Elita missed this explanation.
The Filipino girl missed an opportunity to also mention "jack en poy" after "bato-bato pick," which is similar to what the Japanese girl mentioned in her version. It would have been a nice surprise. Also, I really liked how she mentioned "pluma" (or maybe "panulat," although the subtitles said otherwise) as an old-fashioned term for a writing tool from the past.
She said panulat
She missed "tagapag-ulat" for reporter too.
I think she only knows the manila terms of tagalog/filipino. Not the most common terms. Just like in mundo where actually should be "daigdig".

We Kazakhs also use the words like: "habarsy"- reporter/journalist; "älem", "dünie", "jahan" - world.
I'm not a language expert, but as far as I know, our language has a lot of Arabic, Turkic, ancient Indo-Iranian languages such as Avestan, and even Sanskrit. After all, for many centuries, millennia, the territory of today's Kazakhstan and other parts of Central Asia were inhabited by various ancient Indo-Iranian and then Turkic tribes. Therefore, we still have many similar words with these countries.
