They are so loyal and never forget kindness. I feed 100's each day, and have done so for decades. I cannot count how many have actually climbed through the doggy door to ask for help, or call me to come see one of them who is hurt. Or even just to introduce - it appears - young ones or partners. It sounds bizarre but it is the truth. I have a few who moved in to the verandah and now are in and out of cages and the ones I hand reared over the years just refuse to leave. They are incredibly affectionate and have very complex social and communication systems. They are definitely not vermin.

I really enjoy that I'm not the only one who takes them for walks - two of mine always come with when I take the dogs for a walk.
