Really, I haven't noticed the difference between Lars, Dave and Charlie. Lars is my favourite drummer (and yes, I know he's not that good and some of you may call him awful) and Dave is my 2nd favourite drummer. And I'm 100% agree that Charlie and Dave are like a thousand times better than Lars. But here I haven't noticed the difference.
I don't blame Charlie for trying something different especially after Lombardo Speed Boost and precision strikes, but trying to change a constant double bass structure with Gallop/Pru-Pru Beats was a bad decision. Still Shawn Drover was on cue but lacked balls big time which in my opinion made him the worst out of the 4 here though i do think he suffers from stage fright.
i love anthrax man..these guys are very humble even they are also a big band as well as the other 3 bands..if they're asked to jam together, they'll join it full band..megadeth minus mustaine and slayer without araya..but 5 members of anthrax were on stage including joey even he was just like being a backing vocal for james..anthrax did it for the sake of their friendship within the big 4 and for the fans who love to see all the members of these biggest bands jammed together..long live anthrax..and may they always be the men among the living..

james and kirk soloed when lars was on the drums, broderick soloed when drover was on drums, holt soloed when lombardo destroyed them all, and caggiano when benante was drumming. You can kind of hear their own signature styles in the solos if you really listen. Plus i was there so i know for a fact. I got a couple good quality SLAYER videos on my channel from the concert
Im 45 years old and play drums i remember when everyone of these bands first came out I have seen them all live a few times in arenas and at small clubs Watching this brought back so many memories i have a shit ass smile on my face and it will be there all day only thing missing was Lemmie and Ozzy but that is deffenilty asking to much The early days of thrash metal were the best you had to be there to understand Bang the head that dos not bang !

I was there. When Lombardo took over on Lars's kit at 5:13, he blew Yankee Stadium up. One of the best concert moments I ever had.
