Always a flashback when I hear this awesome song: My friends and I were going into a wedding reception and the parking lot was covered with slush. It really was. It was pop (popular) music, not divided. If the song was hot it was hot. You played Band Stand, Soul Train ,Carson and the Midnite Special, then late in the Decade SNL. Otherwise you were trash.

I always google the band and read about them which you can do thanks to internet and this band was full of super talented fully musical people the band was split into two sets of songwriting duos and a lot bigger in England but still had this song for sure that was huge in the US. Their wiki says their song, I'm Not in Love was their Worldwide Breakout Hit. Fixing to listen to it and see if I remember it. Just played it and hell yes, I remember it like yesterday! lol. It is weird that some artists or bands were not big in certain countries even their own countries but huge in others. That was and is kind of common from what I read. Some songs just take off in one country or another, I guess it is unpredictable and some luck, involved or something.
