Thank you. I think my early videos are more rough but I hope we are improving as we go along.

I prefer to see this little truck get sanded down primed and painted. Also prefer to see it keep it's 4 cylinder engine in it. I love and prefer 4 cylinder engine cars and trucks. That's all ya need.

Love to have this truck because I love 4 cylinder engines. Prefer 4 cylinder engine small cars and trucks. They're practical and economical.

I have two Mikados and they both came with AC. I was assuming since the Mikado was the high trim model they probably all had AC but idk.

My mom had one. I drive it all through high school until the bed finally rusted away. Loved that all truck. Wish I still had it.

@@chadlecraft4971 I learned how to drive in a 1992 Nissan Hardbody small truck like these LUVs. I think that’s what created the soft spot for these types of truck.

My truck was running yesterday it stop working it only stays on n running when I give it gas ....as soon as I let go of the gas pedal .it turns off on me ....I have a 76 luv ... help..can it b. Fuel pump? Filter?or carbruator?

Does it run normally with throttle and under acceleration? If so my first guess would be your idle fuel circuit got clogged. Fuel pump or filter would restrict flow which would cause more noticeable issues while under heavy throttle when you are burning more fuel.

@@fabricobbletechI haven't even drove it just park it but I did notice stay on when I'm giving it gas . Idle fuel circuit ? I know nothing about this engine..lol I'll try to find it ...

@@chevy-714 it’s in the carburetor. When idling the carb delivers fuel different than when running. You can try a couple things like adjust the idle speed up until it idles. Then adjust idle fuel mixture, thread it out a little bit, to see if idle improves at all. If it clogged something I have had luck with is, with the air filter off, rev up the engine then quickly and temporarily block of the carb, remove the blockage before the engine floods and dies, repeat. This process utilizes engine vacuum to pull fuel through and can sometimes clear a clog

@@chevy-714 it could also be ignition. The points can get corroded or out of calibration. In my experience though they typically cause sputtering and surging at different spots in rpm range while driving. Does the truck still drive normal just not idle?
